Why I Ship Shidge 💚🖤

Okay, so, a few people have been asking me why I ship Shidge, so I'm gonna tell you.

First off, unlike Allurance (I'm sorry my children but I must say this, I still ship you) this ship is more than just their love for eachother. It's the support and life they build on eachother. They helped eachother become who they are today and they're apart of eachother.

Shiro helped make Pidge the amazing paladin she was because he believed in her, and he encouraged her to do her best. He was always there for her and caught her when she fell.

This ship is about how they affected each other's lives in the best way and helped eachother become better people. I really don't care about the age gap, my dad is nine years older than my mum, and the age gap is a stupid reason not to ship two people.

And yet, it is the main reason people dislike Shidge.

Why?

Does the age gap really matter that much? Love is love, even if the age gap is like fifteen years!

Yes, Shiro acts like a dad to Pidge sometimes, but Shiro acts like a brother to Keith 24/7 and yet Sheith is still a popular ship! Shiro is just protective of her, and it shows how much he cares!

So yeah, they are my reasons. And if people don't like Shidge, don't act all disgusted cause someone else does! Let people ship who ever the fuck they want! Shidge is an adorable and valid ship that is more than just their love for eachother.

Asking me why I ship Shidge is like me asking you why you ship Klance! I didn't write this to diss Klance, but I'm gonna do it a bit. People ship Klance because they were rivals and because 'opposites attract'. Keith and Lance wouldn't have a good relationship because of their differences. I know not everyone is the same, but their personalities clash, and they'd be fighting all the time and sulking at eachother. And that is not a healthy relationship to have with someone.

I'm sorry to all the Klance shippers who might be reading this, and I don't judge you for shipping Klance, that is just my opinion.

So, there is my reasons for shipping Shidge, so please don't ask anyone why they ship Shidge, cause it's their opinion and you don't have the right to say they're wrong. You can be disgusted in them all you want, but don't actually tell the person.
