Spider-Man AU

*Shiro POV*

"Woohoo!" I grin as I swing from the buildings using my webs. I land ontop of a tall building and look down. My stomach flips.

I'm never gonna get used to that...

I sit at the edge of the building, looking up at the sky rather than the ground incase vertigo makes me sick. Suddenly I feel the bag on my back vibrate a little. I take it off and open it, rummaging through my belongings until I find my phone.

I check the notifications and choke.

Twelve missed messages from Katie and five missed calls!? What could she-

My thoughts are interrupted as I remember.

Oh shit we have a date today!!

I check the time.

And in five minutes!!

I take my mask off then dial Katie's number, and after just one ring she picks up,
"Hey. You weren't replying. You okay? You didn't forget about our date, did you?" Katie's voice asks. I gulp,
"F-forget? No! I would never! I'm on my way now, actually!" I state, crossing my fingers with my free hand.

Katie breaths a sigh of relief,
"Good. See you in five?" She questions,
"I...I'll be there. Love you." I nervously smile,
"Heh, love you too Spider-Boy." Katie teases,
"Why do I bother correcting you?" I smirk,
"I ask myself the same question." Katie laughs,
"Heh. Alright, see you in five." I state,
"See ya." Katie replies before handing up.

I set my phone down and run my fingers through my hair.

I'm in my suit!! I can't go on a date wearing the suit!! Oh god oh god oh god!

I quickly stuff my phone in my bag and stick my mask on. I put my bag on and stand up. I take a deep breath before jumping. I instantly shoot a web that clings to a building.

Why did I make spider-man swing from tall buildings? I fucking hate heights.

Dispite my vertigo, once I start swinging I get used to it again. I swing back to my apartment as quickly as I can. I throw on some clothes over my suit then check my watch.

I'm already a minute late!? Oh crap oh crap oh crap!

I quickly leave my house and start swinging to our meeting point.

After about a minute of swinging I spot Katie standing at a lamp-post. I land a few feet away from her,
"I-I'm here! I'm here!" I pant, putting my hands on my knees as I try to get my breathe back. I look up and see Katie with her arms crossed, an amused smirk on her face.

Once I get my breath back I stand up straight and smile,
"Hey beautiful." I smirk, making Katie go a little red,
"Hey handsome." She grins, then she stands on her tip-toes and kisses my cheek, making her go a little bit redder.

Katie intertwines one of her hands with smile and starts dragging me off,
"Let's go!" She grins, and I laugh at her enthusiasm as she practically yanks me. Katie leads me down a few streets before we stop outside a café. Katie smiles up at me and I smile back. I push open the door, our fingers still intertwined, and we walk inside.

We take a seat in a booth and sit opposite eachother. We start talking,
"You're gonna take me for a spin after this, right?" Katie smiles,
"Like always, yes." I smirk. I realise my hand is still holding hers across the table and I smile. We starts talking and laughing, and we both order our usuals.

After about two hours we finally leave together, side by side. Katie takes my hand in hers and starts swinging our arms a little, a bounce in her step,
"Alright. Tell me why you're so excited today." I smile. Katie looks up at me and grins,
"I woke up this morning and remember about our date and...well, it just made me realise how lucky I am to have the best boyfriend in the world. School has been...stressful, lately, so I'm just excited to see you." Katie grins.

I smirk at her then bend down and kiss her, catching her a little off guard,
"I've been there and done it, I know what you mean. You're the smartest person in that school, so I think you'll be okay. And don't worry, you'll always have me." I beam.

Katie squeezes my hand and snickers,
"Now. I believe you promised me a ride?" She smiles, making me laugh,
"That I did." I chuckle, wrapping my arm around her waist. Katie wraps her arms around my neck and I shoot a web,
"Hold on." I grin, but before I can take off Katie kisses me then grins,
"Holding on and never letting go." She beams.
