San Diego, California ~ March 24th 1985.

They had spent another hour at the ocean, laughing and falling in love all over again. After they got out of the water, Billy threw on a muscle t shirt and some flip flops Rose had brought for him. She put on a white sun dress and a pair of yellow sandals.

They were now walking hand in hand on the boardwalk going into various shops. Seven had bought a Polaroid camera and was now taking candid photos of Billy every chance she got. All in all they were happy, and no one could take that away from them.

Billy was now sat in a little tattoo shop getting his first set of ink while Seven looked at the jewelry in the case. Her eyes fell on a gold necklace that a had circle shaped pendant, Billy, it would be perfect for him.

When he wasn't looking she bought the pendant for him, thanking the cashier and went outside to wait for him to finish.

When Billy stepped out of the shop, he felt hands cover his eyes. He smiled as he imagined Rose standing on her toes to cover his eyes.

"Are you trying to scare me Rosie?" He heard her laugh softly .

"Close your eyes." He obeyed her words and felt her place something around his neck.

"Open." He opened his eyes and looked down to see the necklace she placed around his neck.

He smiled and turned around to face her and was met with the flash of the polaroid camera.

He pulled her into his arms and kissed her.

"Thank you." He said when they pulled away and she simply smiled at him and they continued on with their day.

"We have to go Billy." She said solemnly.

Billy let out a deep breath understanding that they couldn't stay here forever no matter how much they wanted too.

"Okay." Seven placed her hands in his and they were no longer in sunny California. They were back in Hawkins with the cold air biting at their salty skin. Even though he was no longer in California he felt happy just by watching the girl he loved sit in the passenger side of his camaro.

It was around six pm now and Seven was fiddling with Billy's radio. She stopped when a familiar song came on, between Nancy, Johnathan, Billy, and even Mike she had heard most of the most popular bands and artists and Queen had to be one of her favorites.

She sang along to the lyrics and Billy glanced at her and was mesmerized by her voice, and he laughed at how cute she looked.

When killer queen ended she was slightly disappointed and Billy put in one of his tapes and chose a specific track and he felt slightly proud when her eyes widened in happiness.

"Is this the real life." She started to sing along to the lyrics and Billy couldn't help but join in and Rose laughed at how he sounded.

"Mama just killed a man, put a gun against his head."

That was how the remainder of their ride went, with Seven singing on key and Billy belting out the lyrics terribly.

They soon pulled into his driveway and Billy felt relieved when he didn't see a car in the driveway.

The two teens made their way to Billy's room but Seven stopped in her tracks when she saw Max and Lucas making out on her bed. She used her powers and closed and locked the girl's bedroom door in embarrassment.

"Is that Max?" Billy asked, completely oblivious to the fact that his thirteen year old sister was locking lips with a boy.

He was about to open her door but Seven stopped him.

"Yeah, but give her some privacy." Her words were rushed and Billy looked at her weirdly but paid no mind and went to open his own door.

Seven let out breath of relief and opened Max's door and poked her head in.

"Keep your door closed next time." She said to the two as they nodded their heads, completely embarrassed.

Seven went to Billy's room and locked his door behind her.

"Do you want to shower first?" He asked her and she shook her head no.

"You go."

Billy then left the room and Seven felt her nerves kick in. She had talked to Nancy about the possibility of going all the way with Billy and she knew he never asked her to do anything like that before, but she was ready.

She took her hair out of it's ponytail and went to the bathroom.
