March 24th 1985 ~ Hopper's cabin.

"I can't believe you!" Hopper shouted as he entered his home with Seven following behind him. "I gave you one rule, one simple rule, 'don't use your powers recklessly' and what did you do?  Travel to God damn California with that piece of shit Billy Hargrove." That caused Seven to lose it. We could take him yelling at her, but she would not allow him to talk down on Billy.

"He's not a piece of shit you asshole! And so what if I want to leave this shitty town for two seconds, no one saw me!! And even if they did, I was trained to be fucking assassin from I was eight years old I think I would know if we were being followed!!" She screamed back at him leaving him stunned, she turned her head to the left and saw eleven peeking her head out of her bedroom door.

"You have no idea what it's like to  locked up and treated like an animal for your entire life, having your own free will taken away from you, is if I want to go to California, I'll go to fucking California, because for once in my entire life, I'm finally free." She had tears running down her face as spoke and when Hopper didn't say anything else she stormed passed him and locked herself in her room.

Billy Hargrove's residence

Billy let out a grunt if pain when his father struck him.

"You bring some whore into my house, and did God knows what, and worst of all she's the sheriff's fucking daughter!!!" His father's voice boomed as he yelled into his face.

Billy felt his jaw tick at his father's words, ad without thinking he screamed.

"She's not a fucking whore, her name is Rose, and if you gave two shits about me you would know she my girlfriend!!!" His nose flared in anger, that's all he felt, no more fear, just raw anger seeping through his bones as he yelled at his monstrosity of a father. In return however, he got a solid right hook that caused him to grip his cheek in pain, instead of cowering back like he usually did he punched him back, causing his old man to fall to the floor.

Billy didn't stop he got on top of him and punched him again, but as he was about to send another blow his father flipped their position so he was on top now and he sent blow after blow at his son, and he didn't stop even when he felt Susan trying to pry him off of his son.

Max shook in fear as she watched Neil hit Billy over and over, she could see that her brother was no longer conscious, she knew if she didn't act fast Neil would end up killing him. She scanned the living room and spotted a baseball bat, she went over and grabbed the bat and hit Neil on his back causing him to yell in pain and fall beside his son while he withered in pain. She hit him again causing him to stop moving, except for the light rise and fall of his chest.

"Billy!" Max yelled as she went to her brother who was bruised and bloody and unconscious. She tried shaking him awake but he wouldn't get up. She looked at her mother who was trying to wake Neil but he wouldn't wake.

Max knew they couldn't stay here, so she grabbed Billy's keys and barked at her mom.

"Mom! Help me please?!" Susan looked at her daughter and she could see the pain in her eyes as she gripped Billy's arm. She backed away from Neil helped Max carry Billy to his car where they would go to the only people who would truly help them.

Hopper sat at the dining room table with his head in his hands, know he had truly fucked up. He knew he shouldn't have yelled at her like that, he should've tried to reason and be more understanding, but he was scared. He feared that something would happen to her if she kept using he powers like this, but he understood that, that wasn't his choice. With a sigh he got up and knocked on Seven's door causing both of his daughters to stop talking on the other side.

"Hey, can I come in." He asked quietly. He waited for a whole minute until the door unlocked and opened revealing Seven who wore one of Billy's many band t shirts, and a pair of sweatpants.

"I'm sorry." They both said at the same time, they laughed lightly afterward and without much thought she hugged her father causing him to return the gesture. The two soon felt eleven hug them both and they laughed before wrapping their arms around her as well.

Their group hug was interrupted by a frantic knock and the voice of Max on the other side.

"Sev! Help please!!".

The thee broke away from their hug and Hopper went and opened the door, revealing and battered Billy hargrove who was being held up by his step mother and sister.

"Oh my god! Billy!" Seven said as  she rushed forward and helped Hopper bring the boy to their couch.

"What happened?" Hopper asked Susan who was disheveled with tears welling in her eyes. When her mother didn't answer Max did causing Seven to see red at her words.

"His dad, he wouldn't stop." Max's voice quivered a as she spoke with her eyes pouring as she looked at her brother's battered form.
