Song of the chapter: Billie Eilish ~ bury a friend

*******

July 4th 1985 ~ Hopper's cabin

Seven stared at herself in the mirror, staring at her tear stained face and the blood stained under her nose.

Billy's eyes were all she could think of, they looked liked hers when she was the under control of the Russians. She wouldn't wish what he was going through on anyone, it was absolute torture.

Her thoughts however, were broken by a loud crash that came from the living room. She exited the bathroom and felt her heart drop when she saw about a dozen soldiers, pointing their guns at her friends.

The soldier in front smirked wickedly before speaking.

"как ты был агентом семь." -(how have you been agent Seven.)

She sent him a sharp glare before nodding her head to the side, killing him instantly. The other soldiers panicked slightly and were caught off guard when the coffee table crashed into three of them.

Seven looked to her side and saw Eleven wiping the blood from underneath her nose.

She smirked devilishly and spoked with an evil glint in her voice.

"бегать." -(run.)

Before they could move and a loud screech from the outside could be heard. The party turned their attention towards the sound.

"Get away from the windows!" Mike shouted causing them to tense, but the soldiers took their distraction as an advantage, causing Seven to place her hand on the side of her neck when she felt something implied her.

She pulled out a needle with a since and stumbled when she felt the affects of the mysterious red liquid.

"W -what is, is this?" She asked weakly causing eleven to looked at her sister in concern, but the young girl didn't have time to help her sister as one of the mind flayer's arms shot through the window grabbing one of the Russian.

Eleven shot her hand out with a shout stopping another one of the creatures tentacles to impale her, she did the same with the other arm, standing in the middle of the room holding off the monster.

Seven was now being dragged away by Max, as she laid on the ground unconscious.

The remainder of the soldiers were shooting at the creature but it was a failed attempt as it only made them food for the hungry creature.

Eleven screamed when the monster grabbed her leg, trying to pull away from it's deformed and grotesque form outside of the cabin. Mike was now pulling Eleven's hands trying to pull her away from the beast.

The room itself was in complete chaos as the soldiers along with the dainty Nancy wheeler, shot at it. Lucas grabbed the axe off of the wall and hit the limb of the monster causing it to screech in pain and loosen his grip on his friend. With one final strike the monster had let go of El, whom crashed into Mike and they toppled to the floor, with Eleven, crying in pain and fear, and he floppy haired boy comforting her.

"We need to go." Nancy said gathering the kids, but was stopped by the two remaining soldiers who were shaking in fear. They were unarmed but one of them lunged for, Seven who was being held up by Johnathan, impulsively Nancy pulled the trigger, shooting him in the head.

The girl froze in fear and shock as she just realized she had just kill her first human. The other soldier, was about lunge for he girl, but was stopped by an invisible force. Eleven used all of her strength and killed the man by cutting off his airway, only using her mind.

Nancy broke out of her trance and walked over the dead bodies cooly, still shocked at how easy she took another human being's life. The rest of the party followed her and the piled in her mother's station wagon, after they were settled Nancy started the vehicle and drove off.

Billy Hargrove felt his insides churn in horror as he watched the images the mind flayer's was placing into his head. He was watching as the party fought the puppeteer, and screamed wanting to be set free, but no one could here him.

Here he was in Brimborn steelworks, with the shell of Heather Holloway and the other victims that fell prey to Billy and his master.

The two teens watched from behind their masks as the once human people of Hawkins shook and exploded right before them, adding on to the mind flayer's ghastly and grotesque stature.

They could do nothing but watch as each one fell to their deaths, by a force they didn't understand. He kept playing the memory of him and Rose at the beach, not wanting to let go of the last remnants of his sanity.

Billy Hargrove was trying to survive the raging war in his body, as the puppeteer pulled him along to do his bidding.

He held onto a sliver hope, knowing his girlfriend would help him, but he wasn't so sure if she would in time.
