July 1st 1985 ~ Hopper's Cabin
"Are you sure you're okay?" Mallory asked as she watched the blonde haul the duffle bag over her shoulder.
"I'm fine." Seven's voice was cold that caused Mallory to look at her wearily.
She had already said her goodbyes to everyone she cared about, promising to be home in a month at most, but she still had a nagging feeling in the back of her head, the encounter with Billy playing in her mind.
"Let's go." Mallory nodded and placed her hand in Seven's and then they were gone.

Six hours later ~ Somewhere in Indiana
The girls were perched on a hill that was overlooking the industrial buildings below them. Mallory had set up a sniper that they had gotten from Hopper, who had it at the station for some reason.
Seven was silent as she scouted the building she had seen Mark in. It was an old warehouse and he had been alone when she used her powers to find him. She could feel a strange sense of calmness wash over her when she found him. He was different, she could tell, the last time she had saw the older man was the day of her last mission. He always seemed detached from us own body, just like Billy today, she thought.
She closed her eyes and allowed herself to see inside of the building.
Mark was alone, sitting on a couch with his head in his hands, he seemed to be distraught, perfect she thought, it was better if they got him when he was off guard.
Their mission was simple, take him down and Seven would use her powers to find out why he was in Indiana.
"I'm going in." She said to Mallory as she checks did her guns were locked and loaded.
"Ready when you are." The brunette said as she adjusted her body so that she was lying flat on the ground to see through the scope of the sniper.
~
Seven snuck into the building from the back using all of her training to her advantage. When she arrived inside she saw Mark in the same position as before, she placed the gun to the back of his head causing him to tense.
"Don't move." Her voice was icy as she spoke. She was surprised to hear Mark let out a shuddering breathing.
"Em?"
She gasped loudly when she saw Mark's memories being forced into her mind.
There was a boy, about ten or eleven, protecting a toddler behind him, as the men held guns to his face.
"Leave us alone!" His voice was loud and scared as he screamed, but what surprised her was the electric shade of blue his eyes turned. Soon the men in front of him fell as he emitted electric shocks from his body. He then turn to the girl behind him, who was no older than three.
"Em you have to run."
"Bubba no." She replied her blonde curls shaking as she shook her head no.
"You have too, just like we practiced with mama and papa."
Seven felt frozen as the memory continued to play, but it wasn't from Mark's mind anymore, it was from hers.
The little girl used all of energy and gave her brother a look of disdain.
"Goodbye Mark." She was gone.
Seven let out a loud cry as she realized that the man before her was her brother.
"Bubba?" She said as she crumbled to the floor. Mark pulled her into his chest, and Seven didn't fight back, she simply hugged her brother and felt a wave of familiarity rush through her.

Seven, Mark, and Mallory were now sat a table with papers scattered across it. No one spoke as they all tried to comprehend the information.
"So you were forced, just like us?" Mallory asked tensely. Mark nodded in response feeling nothing but guilt as their screams echoed in his mind.
Mark had told them everything. Their parents were scientists under the Russian government, Mark and Seven's parents conducted experiments on the two causing them to obtain their powers. The Russians found out and tried to take them, but they only got Mark, as Seven teleported herself to Hawkins unknowingly. At three years old the little girl had no idea what to do, and she ended up in the clutches of Martin Brenner. They had turned the two siblings into soldiers.
"What about me, why did they even take me?" Mallory asked wondering his she ended up the Russians.
"I don't know." He answered solemnly wanting to give her the answers she craved.
Seven watched as Mallory's face turn sour.
"What the fuck do they want from us?!"
"What every man wants, power." Mark answered her causing them to fall silent.

Billy Hargrove was on the floor of the shower in the community pool. The water cascaded down his face as he clutched his knees with tears of sorrow mixing with rain. He was trying so hard to fight it, he didn't know what 'it' was but he was terrified.
"Please stop." He whispered as the shadow kept whispering in his mind.
"Bring them to me."
It kept saying over and over, Billy's could feel his control over his own body disappear when Heather came to him.
"Billy? Are you okay?" Billy didn't want to hurt anyone, he dug his nails into his knees to feel anything.
"Her, bring her to me." The voice commanded and Billy reached forward and hit her head against he pavement knocking her out.
The puppeteer had pulled the strings and the puppet had know choice but to follow.
