June 29th 1985 ~ Hopper's cabin

Billy Hargrove was pissed.

Mallory had only been there for five days and this was the third time Seven had ditched him because of the brunette. That's why he was currently banging on the front door of the cabin with a fuming expression.

The door was opened by Mallory who had a cold and calculating look that intimidated him, but he didn't show it.

"Where is she?" He asked causing Mallory to raise and unamused eyebrow at the blonde boy.

"She's at the station with Hopper." She said truthfully wanting to get away from the boy.

Billy didn't believe her though, because he forced his way inside the best way he could. When he stepped foot inside of the familiar cabin he saw that she was telling the truth. His eyes landed on two bags that seemed to be freshly packed.

"Are they yours?"

"Only one." She said monotonously.

"You two are leaving?"  Mallory was surprised to hear vulnerability in the boy's voice.

"She didn't tell you?"

"No, she didn't tell me." Billy felt like he wanted to cry. He wouldn't have jumped to conclusions so quickly, if this situation wasn't so similar to when his mother left him.

Billy walked passed the girl and started to exit the house. The moment he opened the door he was met with Seven, Hopper, and Eleven, who were exiting Hopper's car.

Seven's body relaxed when she saw Billy, but she soon felt herself panic at the sad and angry expression he wore.

"Hi Billy." Eleven said kindly as she and Hopper passed the boy to enter their home.

He gave her the best smile he could muster in response, and soon he was left alone with seven who stood in front of him.

"Hey what's wrong?" She asked him as she was about to cup his cheek, but Billy grabbed her wrist gently to stop her. She looked at him confusedly not understanding why he was acting this way.

"What's wrong?" He scoffed as he spoke. He felt himself getting angry.

"What's wrong, is you ditching me three times for, some girl, who is coincidentally your ex girlfriend! What's wrong, is the fact that you two are going to god knows where, and you didn't even tell me anything!"

Seven felt herself become agitated at his words.

"Well if you must know, the reason I ditched you was because, Mallory and I found out that Mark, was in Indiana! I ditched you because we're investigating him and that's why were leaving!! And if you hadn't noticed, YOU DON'T OWN ME, and for god sakes, you really think I would leave without telling you?! I'm not going away forever you asshole!"

Billy felt his anger dissipate as he realized he was once again being foolish.

"Ros-" He started.

"No!" She used her powers to close the door, slamming it in his face, leaving Billy feeling like a idiot, knowing he would have no choice but to apologize.

June 30th 1985~ Seven's Room.

Mallory and Seven lied on the blonde's bed, looking at the ceiling. Mallory's feet were by Seven's head and vice versa.

"I feel terrible!" Seven exclaimed, feeling like utter shit after her fight with Billy. She knew that she should've told him the truth from the beginning but she was too scared. Now she had to pay the price and the only way this would be fixed was if one of them apologized.

"You shouldn't feel terrible, he's the one that was a jerk! He should apologize." Mallory said to her.

"But I miss him."

Mallory felt an idea pop into her head and she smirked wickedly as she sat up and turned to the girl.

"Why don't you surprise him at work." She said to the blonde.

Seven sat up and looked at her friend and matched her expression when she realized what she meant.

This should be fun.

Hawkins Community Pool

Seeing a shirtless Billy Hargrove was probably the highlight of day to the middle aged women and teenage girls that sat by the pool.

If this Billy eight months ago, he would've probably slept with half of them already, but now as he walked to his lifeguard chair, all he could think about was his girlfriend, whom he hadn't seen or spoken to in two days.

He knew he should apologize, but he assumed she would want some space. Like always his assumptions were wrong, because he spotted Rosie walking into the community pool looking hot as ever.
