Chapter 2: Reunited Once More! Ash's Surprise!

*Serena's POV

My alarm went off and it was 8:15 so I rushed to go take a shower and was done in 10 minutes. I got changed into my best looking clothes once more and I put on the hat Ash had given me before he left for Alola

I examined myself in the mirror and I once again blushed at the idea of Ash seeing how my body had changed but I got over it and walked into the living room to find everyone ready to go

"It's 8:40 so let's go!" Clemont said and we rushed out the door but we stopped in our tracks as we saw Ash walking alongside the beach with Mercury

"There he is" I whispered

"Well go and see him" Shauna whispered back but I shook my head

We then watched as Mercury stopped Ash from walking and pointed into the ocean as they turned to look at something we couldn't see and I took this as my opportunity

I silently walked up but I stopped as what appeared to be other students approached them

*Ash's POV

"Hey guys!" Kiawe said as the others approached

"Hey Kiawe!" I replied

"What are you two looking at?" Lana asked

"Yeah I don't see anything" Lillie said

"You guys don't see it? Look closer" Mercury said and we all focused hard to see what he was seeing

I then heard a familiar voice from behind and time slowed as my brain processed if what I heard was real and I tried to turn around

"A-Ash?" The voice asked

I then turned around slowly and let my eyes rest on who was in front of me

"It's good to see you again" Serena said

"S-Serena!" I replied and we ran into each other's arms and hugged

"Someone slap me" Lillie said

"Th-that can't be...." Mallow replied

"Hey what's a cute girl like that doing with Ash" Kiawe whispered

"That's Serena!" Lana replied in a loud whisper

"Serena.... w-what are you doing here?" I asked

"I came to see you Ash!" Serena replied

"M-Me?" I asked back

"Of course! I won the title of Kalos Queen so I decided on coming here to see you!" Serena explained

"Your the Kalos Queen? That's great!" I replied and she smiled

"Hey Ash!" A voice said I turned to see Clemont, Bonnie, Tierno, Trevor, Shauna and Miette

"Clemont! Bonnie!" I said as Bonnie ran up and hugged me

"I really missed you Ash!" Bonnie said

"I missed you guys too!" I replied

"So what have you been up to?" Miette asked with a grin and Serena had a jealous look on her face

It really made me think back to all those strange times Miette & Serena argued about something that had to do with me

"I've been attending school and training real hard" I replied

"Your Serena!" Mallow said as she rushed over

"Hey there!" Serena replied

"We're such big fans! Ash didn't tell us he knew you!" Lillie then said
