Moni Pov
I wake up to the smell of breakfast. I sit up in the bed rubbing sleep from my eyes. When I look to the side of me for Dewayne, I see a tray with breakfast on it in his place.

I couldn't help but smile, who told this nigga to use my kitchen to make breakfast. Bacon, strawberries, pancakes😍 and a glass of orange juice. I pick up the folded piece of napkin.
          - good morning beautiful enjoy your breakfast. I hope you don't mind I took the liberty of using your shower-

Damn the nigga made me breakfast, used my shower and left😂. I can't really be mad because he made pancakes my favorite. I place the tray on my lap and began eating a strip of bacon. I turn the tv on to SpongeBob. I swear all never be too old for cartoons. The door to the bathroom opens as I put a fork full of pancakes in my mouth.

Dewayne comes out with just his joggers on. I guess he didn't leave 😏.
"Hey," I smile at him.

"Good morning," Wayne says laying on the bed next to me. I look towards the tv popping a strawberry into my mouth. I see Dewayne looking at me out the corner of my eye. He turn towards me sitting up and laying his hand on his head. I look over at him raising my eyebrow.

"What you got planned for today," he asks taking a piece of my bacon.

"Finishing up decorations and studying," I lick syrup from my lips. I look at his lips as he chews the bacon. After I finish my breakfast Wayne takes my tray and heads down the hall to the kitchen.

I get up walking to my walk-in closet and pick out a shirt and short as my house lounge wear. I throw the clothes on my bed with the laundry basket in my hand and head down the hall. Dewayne walks toward me as I head to the laundry room. He stops in front of me.

"Boy move," I laugh pushing him backwards with the basket. Wayne wiggles his eyebrows as he moves backwards down the hall. I laugh moving him out of the way as I turn into the laundry room. I set the basket on the dryer as I open the washer. Dewayne leans up against the wall watching me put my clothes into the washer.

"That neighbor you met," Wayne starts.

"What about him," I roll my eyes.

"Stay away from him," he says handing me the laundry detergent.

"Why? I don't say nothing about the chicken heads you be with," I pour the detergent into the washer before shutting it and turning the knob.

"Moni it ain't even like that," Dewayne says turning me towards him with his hands on my waist.

"Then what exactly is it like," I tilt my head looking up at him.
"I just don't like how he moves. Something about that nigga is off. Stay away from him," Dewayne says in a serious tone.

"I think someone is just a lil jealous of someone else being interested in me," I smile. I ain't gon lie it's kinda cute to see him all worked up.

"Jealous of what? That nigga don't even compare to me. Something ain't right about him that's all I'm sayin," he says looking down at me. I look up at him smiling.
"I'm forreal girl," he says.
"Alright," I say making my way back down the hall to my room.

"What you got planned for today," I pick my clothes up from the bed.

"I gotta stop by the office, run a few errands and go to the barbershop," Dewayne says ruffling his hair.
"Oh okay," I say kinda not wanting him to leave yet. Wayne move towards me.

"I'll be back in time to help you study," he says before kissing my forehead. I smile up at him.

I walk him to the front door. "I'll see you in a few hours," he says as he steps out into the hallway.
"Mhmm," I say leaning against the door frame looking him over from head to toe.
