"Well this will be your new desk. As a secretary you job will be to forward important calls, update and email clients, getting mail and making sure our schedule is updated with our weekly meetings," Mr. Ross says. I nod my head looking over my desk seeing that it needs a lot of work.

"This is my sons office," I follow him into the office looking around at the furniture and desk. You could almost live in here if you want. I don't think Mr. Ross knows that I'm dating his son.

"I must warn you that my son is very flirtatious with the staff. Your a very smart girl I hope I don't have to worry about that with you. I'd like to keep the work environment professional," he says turning to me.

"In that case there is something I should tell you," I say clutching my purse.

"And what's that Miss Taylor?" Mr Ross raises his eyebrow.

"I'm dating your son," I say walking to his desk looking at how neat and organized it is.
"My son doesn't date," he laughs. I look up at him and he stops.

"Oh your serious," Mr Ross says clearing his throat.
"Yes," I say running my hand over his office chair.

"I know my son and I don't want you to—," he starts.
"I don't need a lecture. I know his past ways but me and him are together and that's that," I say sternly. Mr. Ross nods his head.

"I just wanted you to be aware of the situation because the office staff will talk," he says.
"Let them," I say heading back for the door.
"Great you can start Tuesday ," he says following behind me.

Dewayne Pov

"Alright. We had our fun yesterday. Now today is strictly business," I say looking around my office. I got all my good henchmen here. Snoop, Rico, the girls my other niggas and Liu fine ass decided to stick around.

"Yeah wassup. You ready to take over again?" The nigga that Liu popped the other day says.
"Nah. I know y'all miss a nigga. But for now we back to our mob shit. Now get yo phones and pagers out we putting a hit out for the head of MLD. Maniac Latin Disciples, the nigga name Anthony," I stop for a second as they pull out the phones to start dialing numbers.

"Matter fact. Anyone that work for that nigga bring them to me. Alive," I say the last part loud and clear because my niggas ruthless.
"Damn yo what this nigga do," Trey one of my best shooters says.

"The nigga tried to kill my partna Snoop. He killed my girls parents got a hit out for her life and the last of her family. And this peon ass nigga threaten my life, he gotta go," I say pacing back and forth.
"This nigga Anthony is a scary ass nigga. From what I heard he don't get his hands dirty he let other mfs do it for him," Snoop says. I nod my head looking around as they start to mutter.

"Anyone know shit so far?" Rico says next to me.
"The Rottweilers said they heard on the streets that the MLD suspects that your back in town," nigga from the back Malcom says. The Rottweilers is a group of bad ass kids that keep an ear out on the streets for us and relay back all sorts of detail to get chump change.

"If they don't know I'm back now then they will," I say.
" Bring them niggas in too," Rico adds.

I pull out my phones seeing that Moni calling and send her a quick text.
"One of them always comes into the restaurant and orders a bunch of take out. Every Friday he would come in ordering the same thing and leaving a large tip for me,"Liu says causing everyone to look at him.
"How do you know he's one of them?" Snoop lights a blunt.
"MLD is tattooed on the side of his neck," Liu says leaning back against the wall.   
"What today?" I say.

"Nigga whole time its Friday," Rico cracks a smile. I take the blunt from Snoop's outstretched hand pressing it to my lips.
"Bet. We get that nigga tonight," I nod my head to Liu who gives a small grin. "Everyone else get to work."

I retreat to my old office to spark another blunt. I lay back on my couch placing the blunt in my mouth before sparking it. Man I miss this office. I got too many mf memories in here. I look at the side where I kept a second bed when I use to stay here at night sometimes. 

Me and Germany use to have fun around here. I crack a smile thinking about her. She broke a nigga heart and I haven't seen or heard from her since. I hope she doing well for herself cuz man she was suppose to be my baby forever. It's cool cuz now I got Harmony I got more love for her than anything. I head into the back room laying down on the king size bed looking up at the ceiling as I smoke my weed.

"So you got a girlfriend now?" I look down seeing Liu standing in front of the bed.

"Yeah I do," I blow smoke out.

"I'm happy for you," she says sitting on the bed next to me. I raise my eyebrow knowing it's gotta be something else up.
"Are you really," I say.

"I didn't think Dewayne Ross would ever be ready to settle down," she says straddling my lap taking the blunt from my lips.

"I never though I would either," I lick my lips watching her hit the blunt. She slowly rocks her hips on me.

"Liu... you my homegirl. And the girl I'm with now I'm really digging her," I stop her hips.
"Okay fine I just had to test you," she laughs climbing off the bed. She starts heading to the door.

"Hell you think you going with my weed," I smile.
"Out the door," she says still walking.

" you lucky I fuck with you," I laugh
"Yeah yeah yeah," I hear her say before the door closes. Let me call my baby real quick😏

Moni Pov
Just as I head out my room and down the hall I hear my phone ring and I know it's Wayne because of the ringtone. I smile running back to my room and jumping on the bed.

"Hey baby," I say into the phone.
"Hey sexy. What you up too?" Dewayne says.

"Nothing was making some Mac and cheese," I disconnect my phone from the charge and walk down the hallway towards the kitchen.
"Oo make me some too girl," he says.

"I'll make you some when you get back. When you coming back?" I ask using a wooden spoon to stir the cheese into the pasta noodles.

"In another day or two baby," Dewayne says I can hear him lick his lips.
"Aw okay." I say sticking my bottom lip out.

"You better not be pouting over there," Dewayne laughs.
"Ain't nobody pouting," I roll my eyes.

"Yeah ight.  What you do today baby?" He says and I can here him shifting the phone before his voice comes in clearer.
"Well I got a better job," I smile turning off the stove.

"Oh yeah? What's that?" Wayne says.
"You'll see when you get back," I spoon the Mac and cheese into a bowl.
"Alright babygirl."

6:18pm
We been on the phone for at least three hours just talking and bullshitting around.
"Baby you getting sleepy," I smile into the phone.

"Noo." Moni says softly.
"You sure? We can talk when you wake up," I says rolling on my side.
"You promise," she says in her sleepy voice.

"Yes baby I promise." After that we hang up and I roll over under my blankets. A nigga bored ain't shit to the the henchmen still put looking for Rottweilers and we can't really do shit else til later tonight. Might as well take a nap too. I sit up taking my shirt off before relaxing back under the covers closing my eyes.
