Its been a almost a month since that situation with Dewayne but I think he's learned his lesson😏. He hasn't been dealing with many of his hoes lately, he toned it down a notch but he still got his playas card. Im not hating because with a quick text Terrance could be over eating my goodie box okur! But nah he ain't been over since the first time.

Enough about his ass🙄 

I've been good got a job at the same Starbucks I met Dewayne at. The pay ain't really shit, but I'm not worried about that I got plenty of cash just keeping a low profile for as long as I can. Anthony has left me 3 threatening voicemail i haven't told Dewayne and I don't need too 

Anthony is my problem.

"Girl I'm glad I got yo ass around here for awhile," Aisha says handling me a cup. I laugh pouring the mocha frappe into the cup. Aisha's my coworker, Carmel skin like me, same height as me, long hair like me, shit she could be my sister. Aisha and I clicked immediately when I turned in my job application she's also the one that got the manager Denise to hire me.

"Cuz that chicken head Kimberly. I caught her stealing from the register," she says shaking her head.
"Girl forreal!" I say handing her the order. I wipe my hands on my apron looking at the clock. 5 more minutes and I'm off.

"Mocha frappe 2 shots expresso," Aisha calls out. A young girl grabs her order taking napkins with her. I start cleaning down my station so when it's time to leave I can just bounce.

"So we hitting the club tonight?" Aisha asks wiping down the front countertop. Aisha been trying to get me to pop out with her since I'm still kinda new out here.
"Girl ion know," I smile taking off my apron and fold it up.

"Why cuz you gon be with Dewayne," she says rolling her eyes. Yeah she know about Dewayne. When she first saw me with him she had already tried to put me up on game about him but I told her I already know wassup with him but we ain't together. 

After I set her straight I been kool with her ever since. I'm glad she wanted to let me know cuz if i didn't I would not wanna be out here looking dumb as hell. Aisha reminds me a lot of my sister Somon, they would've really like each other. Somon, I hope you doing well I can't help but to think.

"I don't really have plans with him yet but him coming to get me," I say taking off my Starbucks hat. We been hanging out often but not too much since he's been working on some case. 

The door chimes, I look up and Dewayne walks in.

''Hm speak of the devil," Aisha says restocking the cups. I smile locking eyes with Dewayne. He's wearing a fitted grey muscle shirt, black shorts and Nike slides.

"Ima tell him we going out tonight," I say to Aisha as she passed me to go back to the register.

"Mhmm," she says popping her gum. Dewayne walks up to my register looking me over.

"Excuse me Miss. I was wondering if I could get something off menu," he leans on the counter.
"And what's that," I smile placing my hands on the counter.

"Let me get a large cup of Harmony Taylor to go," Dewayne licks his lips.

"Sorry sir we don't serve that here," Aisha says bumping my hip. We both laugh looking at  each other.

"How was your work out," I say as we get into his car.

"It was good. I could have used you to spot me but since you got a job and all you ain't got time for me," Dewayne says lookin over at me. I look at him sideways.
