My Sweet, My Dear, My Rey

Chapter Two

Both POV

Rey was starting to fall asleep not even fifteen minutes into the tour.

Ben noticed this and picked her up, "Why don't we continue this tomorrow? For now I can show you your room and get you all settled.".

Rey nodded her little, sleepy head. Ben began carrying her towards the bedrooms. He opened her room's door and sets her on the bed.

"I'll go get you some sleeping clothes," Ben said.

He got her a light pink shirt and some soft, gray bottoms with stars on them. When he came back over to Rey, she was mostly asleep and rubbing her eyes. Ben smiled. She was so cute.

"Hey, Rey,", Ben said softly, " Can you get dressed, or do you need me to help you?".

Rey looked at him, " Can you help me, please?". Ben nodded and smiled.

He blushed the whole time he undressed her and then dressed her. He then picked her up, pulled back the covers, and then tucked her in.

"Goodnight, sweetheart.", Ben said.

He kissed her forehead. " 'Night Benny!", Rey said.

A few months later...

Ben walked out of Rey's room after tucking her in for the night and then walked towards his room, which was right across from Rey's. It was pretty late so he decided to go bed himself. Ben laid in his bed and thought about Rey.

She was his counterpart. She was HIS. And no one could change that.

"Solo.... come to the dark side... it's the only way to become how you are meant to be!". It was Snoke. The voice in his head had been there for as long as Ben could remember.

"Just leave me alone!", Ben groaned.

"Be warned, young Solo, Skywalker doesn't like how much you like the girl. He wants to separate you two.".

This caught Ben's attention. Separate HIM and REY?? Sure, Ben has only known the girl for a couple of months, but she was HIS counterpart, and he had vowed to love and protect her from the moment he heard about her.

"What?! No! Your lying!", Ben yelled. "In time you will see, young Solo."

The next day, Ben was walking with Rey after breakfast.

"Ben! Come here for a moment!", Luke called.

"Ok, Rey, why don't you go play with the other children for a bit?", Ben said to Rey.

Rey looked unsure because she hadn't even met the other children since all of her time was spent with Ben.

"Ok...", she carefully answered.

Ben smiled and walked away towards Luke. Rey walked towards the other kids who looked her way, staring at her. Their stares soon turned into glares.

"EW!", some said, "it's Luke's nephew's PET!!".

The kids laughed and turned their backs on her, excluding her. Tears came to Rey's eyes and she ran away into the forest.

Meanwhile, Ben was talking with Luke, who informed him that he would be taking a trip to another planet in a few days and Ben would be put in charge of the academy. Luke finished explaining what to do and then walked off. Ben walked around to try and find Rey, but couldn't. He found the group of children. Rey wasn't there either.

"Where is she?!", Ben demanded.

"Oh! You mean your pet?", one kid asked.

This angered Ben so much he threw the kid into a tree with the Force.

A girl said, "she ran into the forest!".

"GOOD!! That's what I wanted to know!! Don't you EVER TALK TO MY REY LIKE THAT AGAIN!!!", Ben screamed.

Luke heard all of the commotion and came over.

"What's going on?", Luke asked and the kids told him everything, however, Ben was already gone, looking for Rey.

Ben immediately Rey in the forest, crying, and wrapped her in a hug.

"It's ok my sweet.", Ben cooed.

How dare those kids hurt HIS Rey?? Ben vowed right there that he would make them pay. And he knew just the right time and place to do that.
