Rey's POV

I woke up with a groan. My head was KILLING me. I began to cry from the pain. A med droid came up to me and injected me with some kind of drug - probably a painkiller. "Where is he?", I whimper. Master Ren is at a meeting and will not be back for an hour or so, Miss the droid beeped. I nod.

The droid latches onto the wall and shuts off. I think back to Ben- no- Kylo hitting me. It reminded me of why I left him all those years ago and of Luke telling me never to let Kylo get to me again. I began to cry again and the droid came up to me asking if I was still in any pain. "No. That drug helped. I'm just sad.". Oh, I'm sorry. I can't do anything for that, Miss was the droid's reply. "It's ok. I'm going back to sleep now.", I said. The droid went back to the wall. I found myself relaxing from the painkiller. It must've been strong because I drifted off back to the dark, weightless void that was sleep...

..."Rey....Rey....Rey?....Rey, sweetheart, wake up...", I heard Kylo say. He was gently shaking me awake. I didn't realize it was him until my eyes landed on him. I screamed and I sat up only to be met with extreme dizziness. I whimpered and held my head in my hands and began to cry.

"Rey, are you ok?! What's wrong, sweetheart? Does your head hurt? I'm sorry.", kylo said trying to hold me. "NO! DON'T TOUCH ME!", I screamed. Kylo flinched back as if I was a bee that stung him. "Rey, calm down. You're just going to make it worse.",he tried to say. "GET AWAY FROM ME! YOU'RE A MONSTER! I DON'T WANT TO STAY HERE!", I continued to scream.

The med droid came up to us and tried to tell Kylo that it would be better if he left, but Kylo just threw the droid against the wall and destroyed it. I screamed at that even more. "Rey!", Kylo said raising his voice, "I said calm down!". With that, he pushed me down on my bed and held my head in his big hands. He was sending waves of calmness to my mind. I found myself relaxing and I stopped crying, but was still scared. The dizziness and pain in my skull faded away and I realized that Kylo had Force healed me.

I wiped away my tears. "Please don't hurt me.", I whimpered. Kylo's face softened. "I would never do that, my sweet, never again at least.", he said. "You're not going to hurt them are you? The Resistance and my friends?", I ask between hiccups. Kylo sighed. "I can't make any promises, little one.", he said. I looked away from him. "Hey", he said, "I have something to show you. Go get dressed and I'll take you there.".

I hopped out of my bed and to my closet. I picked out a pair of black leggings and a light grey tunic with little black boots. I went into my bathroom and brushed out my hair and washed my face off. I looked at my reflection. My eyes were puffy from crying and I looked tired and sad.

I made my way out of my bathroom and back into my bedroom where Kylo stood. I walked up to him with my eyes lowered to the ground. He was very tall and big, it reminded me of just how dangerous he could be when he was mad. He lifted me off of the ground and held me against him like he always did - the way that was always so comfy I could fall asleep. This way I could also breathe in the shampoo he used. It made him smell like a misty woods in the spring. It suited him and I couldn't help but snuggle into his muscular shoulder.

He carried me out of our quarters and through the base. He stopped at a door after a few minutes and set me down. "Rey I want you to close your eyes. Then I'll help you inside and you can open them when I say.", Kylo explained. I did as I was told, not wanting to cry more. I heard the doors open and Kylo led me inside.

"Ok, ready? Open your eyes!", he said. I did and my eyes had to adjust to the bright light in the room. I looked around with wide eyes. It was a garden. "Oooo!", I heard myself say. There were trees and flowers and roses everywhere! There was a big tree in the middle with a swing on it and there was something little on the swing that I couldn't quite see. I walked up to it and was ecstatic to see my wooden dolls sitting on the swing! They had been set up so that the little girl was in the middle, between her mom and dad. I scooped them up and hugged them tightly, smiling brightly.

"I'm guessing you like it?", Kylo asked, walking up behind me. "Yes! I love it! Thank you!", I hugged him. Kylo chuckled. "Why don't you try out the swing? I can push you.". "Yes!". And that's what we did.
