Two years later...

What's left of the Resistance - Outer Rim

Poe's POV

It's been around six years since we've last seen Rey. I hope she hasn't been through too much. That monster has probably been hurting her all this time. If I ever get the chance to, I want to see Rey again and maybe even save her from that horrible monster.

Some members of the Resistance went their own ways around the Outer Rim, others stayed close together to survive. I finally confessed my love for Finn and he was unsure at first and I hated myself for saying that I loved him, but in the end he loved me too and we've been happily married for around two years now.

Leia is getting older and thinks the balance of the Force lays in Rey's hands. That is, if Luke has passed on by now. If he's still alive, we need him.

"Honey?" I heard Finn call, "You should come see this."

I walked over to the hologram in the middle of our little village. It was a broadcast of the monster himself. That stuck up General Hugs was slightly in front of him, starting off the message. A young girl was next to the monster's side. Everyone was pointing at her and whispering. They knew her. Everyone loved that sweet little girl.

"...and now, your Emperor!" The carrot haired general announced. He stepped back and Kylo Ren walked forward, leaving Rey behind.

"People of the galaxy!" Ren started. I didn't listen to him. I hated him. He hurt Rey and stole her from them! She needed to be saved.

"...I assure you all that this change should not affect your lives nor my Sweet Rey's fifteenth birthday celebration." He smiled at that and stormed out of the camera's range. He put his hand on Rey's back as they left. The holo switched off.

I knew what I had to do then: save Rey. Even if it meant dying.

Two days later - Coruscant

Kylo's POV

"I'm so excited for it!" Rey squealed as she brushed her hair for bed, "a whole celebration just for my birthday!"

"You were just as excited for the party last year! When you turn eighteen, however, it will be even bigger! Like a wedding size kind of big, but still bigger."

"I can't wait for our wedding. It's going to be so magical." She came over to me with a big smile, "I love you so much." We shared a kiss.

"Now let's get you to sleep for your big party tomorrow night! You don't want to be falling asleep while dancing do you?"

"Not unless it's in your arms." She giggled, jumping onto her bed. Our quarters on Coruscant made it so that we share a bathroom, yet had separate rooms. Rey said that she didn't want to share a bed until after we were married so it was something different and special. I agreed with her.

Over the past two years, we have been putting the finishing touches on our Empire and I have been teaching and training Rey in the ways of the Force. I had tainted her memories of the Resistance so that she believed they were the cause of her suffering. Anything to make her stay with me.

I could tell that ever since the incident Rey was in two years back, she hasn't been very confident about herself. Well... unless she was near me. We were the best team together. I also found out was Rey's biggest fear besides loosing me was: men.

She was terrified of men, boys, chicos, or whatever you want to call them. I hated that the incident made this happen to My Rey. She only trusted females, my Knights, and me of course. No males.

But besides that, she was fifteen now and had grown so well so quickly. She had curves in all the right places and was toned and lean from our training. I never worked her too hard, but she always persisted to keep fighting even when she was on the verge of staying conscious. She was so strong. Together, we would rule a perfect and balanced galaxy.
