My Sweet, My Dear, My Rey

Chapter Eight

Rey POV

I wake up to the ship shuddering, meaning that it landed. I lift my head from my pillow and yawn. Rubbing the sleep away from my eyes, I look around. I remember that I was taken by Kylo Ren and this is his ship. I remember falling asleep on him, which means that what I slept on was no pillow. It was his chest!

I look up to meet his mask's visor, he was watching me, but for how long? I look away and the next thing I know, I'm being picked up like I was after Kylo caught me hiding in the closet. He places my head in his shoulder and he walks out of the ship and down the ramp. He dismisses his Knights and begins to walk through the halls of this First Order ship.

"Uhm... where are you taking me?", I ask in a tiny voice, expecting to be told I'm going to a prison cell. "To our quarters of course, My Sweet. I want you to get comfortable with your new home, and I want to restore your stolen memories.", he answers. I don't answer back, I just want to look around from my view. If there was one good thing about being carried by this man, it was either the view I got or the fact that it's was alarmingly comfortable.

We stop at a door and I hear Kylo put in to code and the door opens. He walks in and sets me down. I look around at the open room, it's familiar just like everything else about this man. "Go take a look around.", he tells me.

I walk through through the main room first, it's made up of a kitchen and a living room. Then I go up a short flight of stars in the middle of the back wall that leads to a small hallway with one door on each side wall. I throughly the one on my right first. It is all black with some dark grey. This must be Kylo's room. There is a large bed and little decorations unlike my room back at the Resistance base, there is another door that leads to a bathroom, but I don't explore much in there, I just take a quick look to see what it was.

I walk out of that one and go to the next door, which is directly across from Kylo's. I open the door to see a similar layout but there are more decorations that look just like the ones in my Resistance base room! There are paper drawings on the walls mostly of a tall man with black hair and a small girl with brown hair. It looks like Kylo and... me. I walk away from the drawings and back out of the room.

The second I step out of the room, I'm scooped up by Kylo and he presses a rough, but sweet, long kiss on my cheek. I look at him. He's now unmasked and his face brings back so many memories. Of me and a younger him playing, him comforting me after I had a nightmare, and him doing the scoop-up-and-kiss thing he just did several times.

"BEN!", I cry out, wrapping my arms around his neck and kissing his cheek. He hugs me back tightly. "I missed you so much!". I was crying now. "You remember," he sighs, "I missed you too. I won't let those people take you again, hows that sound?". I nod enthusiastically. "Yes! Yes! Yes! I want to be with you.", I say.

After a pause I say, "Ben? Can I tell you something?". "Anything, Sweetheart.", he answers. "When I'm with you,", I start, "I feel complete. When I was six, I didn't know how to describe it because I was too little to know, but now I do.".

Kylo pulls back smiling. "That's good. Remember how you always asked me why I chose to join the dark side and bring you with me?", I nod, "Well, I guess you are allowed to know now.", he takes a deep breath and sits on the living room couch. I sit next to him and cuddle into his side. "I joined the dark side because I didn't want Luke to take you from me. I wanted to stay with you and live with you and train you. Also, because it would give us a better future. I want the best for you. The Resistance wanted to keep you from me! I want to get rid of them and I want you to rule by my side. We could rule the galaxy together. You and me. What do you think?".

I thought for a few seconds before saying, "sounds good. But what do you mean by get rid of the Resistance?". He looked at me right in my eyes and said, "I want to kill them Rey. All of them.". I stared at him. "But Ben, that not nice! Can't we just send them somewhere where they can't bug us? Like a treaty? If they leave, like to a certain planet and stay there, the war ends peacefully without much death?", I suggest. "And what if they don't comply?", he asks. I shrug, "that's up to you, Ben - I can still call you that right?". He nods and smiles, kissing my forehead. "We should have a meeting to plan this." "Ok!" I reply.

I sit on the couch while Ben calls his officers to a meeting room. He puts his mask back on and I run to him and hug his leg. "Alright we should go now, they should be waiting for us. Do you want me to carry you or do you want to walk?", he asks. "Can I walk? We would look more professional.", I say. "That's my smart girl.", he says lovingly, tilting his head a bit.

We walk out of his quarters and to a meeting room with a bunch of serious faced, darkly dressed men and women, who stand and bow once we walk in. "And whom may I ask are you?", one pale, red headed man says to me. "Her name is Rey, Hux. She is my Force counterpart. Show her the same amount of respect as you would show me.", Ben answers for me.

Ben leads me to the chair at the head of the shiny black table and seats me there. Everyone else sits down. "May I ask why the girl is here, sir?", Hux asks. "She will be your future empress in time. Do not question me on that subject anymore. Now let's begin. I want to discuss the Resistance. Rey thinks that if we try and use her to make them sign a treaty that will force them into the unknown regions for good, and we will win the war.", Kylo explained. "You mean she wants to end the war.. peacefully?", one officer asks. "Yup!", I pipe up, "But if they don't listen... uh.... we make them?".

Ben and the officers and generals and the other important people chatted about this for a few moments, trying to figure out if this was a good plan or not. After a few moment one officer said, "it's settled then, we send them a hologram of The Supreme Leader asking for a treaty.". "He could have the girl with him and threaten her life if they don't comply, but not actually harm her in any way.", another said. "Good. Go oversee preparations. I will be there shortly.", Ben says. All of the important people leave and Ben turns to me. "Now we need to make you look like you're in distress.", he says.
