chapter 1 leaving

"Mom I'm going out" I yell while walking out the door. I hear my mom scream
"be safe!!" I get onto my skateboard and rode off. I then get to the the mall and see my friends "hey guys!!" I walk over to them "Nicole what are you doing here?!?" I hear a voice yell as it comes closer, I look to my side "Fatty I've missed you" I run up to her giving her a big hug
"I've missed you to" she giggles. Rakayla runs over
"um...forget bout someone?" she asked jokingly
"nope who did I forget?" I smile "well then I guess I'll leave and go home" she says looking away
"I was kidding" I look down
"I know you were I just wanted to hear you say it" she smiles and starts to laugh at me
"oh I'll get you back" I run after her and she runs back to fatty "guys stop running in the mall!" Fatty scrams and looks at some boy at a food court.
"Who you looking at fatty?" I smile and look at the boy
"I don't know but he's cute" she had a big smile
"go talk to him" Rakayla pushes fatty
"ok OK I'll go" she walks over to the boy.
"Um...Kayla" I look at Kayla with a glum look
"what's wrong?" She seems worried
"that's my brother!!"I scream
"OK stay calm I'll go over there" Rakayla says looking at them
"NO I'll go over there" I say nervously as i walk over to them "hey peter" I say very slowly
"hey Nicole why you here?" He looks at me
"I'm hanging wit my friends" I say smiling
"wait I'm confused you two know each other?" Fatty says looking very confused
"um...yea he's my brother" I say trying not to look her in the eyes. "Really?" Fatty looks down "um..yea and were moving in a week" I look away
"Are you serious I'm gonna lose my best friend in a week!?!?" She starts to tear up
"um...yea I'm so sorry" I walk away in tears .
