chapter 3: the boy

"Mom I'm gonna go look around" I look at her sitting on the table "OK be safe" she said as I run to the door. I close the door and look around I grab my skateboard and start riding. As I look around I didn't notice a boy on a skateboard coming at me. "Ouch!" I scream
"um...can you watch where your going?" The boy that ran into me said. I look up at him he had blond hair with a little blue and he was tall.
"Oh um... I'm sorry I'm just new and.." He cuts me off
"wait your the new girl?" He smiles
"um..yea why? I look at him confused
"I heard a few kids talk about you" he helped me up
"oh ok" I look at the boy
"I'm kian by the way" he looked at the ground
"hey kian I'm Nicole nice to meet you" I smile as he looks back up "nice to meet you to" as he just stares at me "well I have to go" I say all sad"
"no wait I'll show you around" he smiles
"ok fine I'll stay" as we start to skateboard along the sidewalk. Kian showed me every where he went and then showed me even more places we should go
"kian I'm getting tired and its getting very late i should go" I say to him before he looked down all sad
"what's wrong? I ask him
"do you have to go?" He looks up then down again
"Yea i do I'm sorry maybe we can hang out tomorrow?" I say looking at him with a smile
"Ok see you tomorrow" he replies as we hug
"bye kian" I scream while riding home.
