A Kind Act..

-2 WEEKS LATER-

(Dimitri's POV)

Its been 2 weeks sense Haru was born,and everything so far went perfect. I would sleep with Haru and (Y/N) almost everyday, (Y/N) still is not aloud to teach until Haru is able to take care of his self. So she mostly walks around (with Haru of course) and does whatever she can to be helpful. I also get the chance to take care of Haru and,trust me its really fun. 

He behaves very well,but he still cries..constantly. I had to learn from (Y/N) how to change his diapers, how to feed him, and how to soothe him when he cries. It seemed hard at first but now it became a routine.

But classes also take me away from time with my...family. Felix and I also do training almost everyday now, "My god you really don't know how to fight." I sighed as I picked up my spear, "Yes..sadly." Felix shook his head,"However though you seem very on point with your strikes, you just don't hit in the right time...we should work with that."

I nodded and got back into position, I was about to strike a move when (Y/N) came in with Haru. "Hello Dimitri and Felix." she said with a smile, Felix and me stopped and walked over to her. "Hello teach." Felix said with a smile..man he's nicer to her then he ever is to me. Which surprises me..incredibly.

"Hi Felix, i'm sorry if I interrupted your practice.." Felix shook his head, "No, of course not. I-Is it okay if I could hold him?" (Y/N) giggled, "Of course." she slowly handed him to Felix causing him to freak out a little. Who knew that Felix had a soft spot for kids..

"He's so..small.." he said cradling Haru in his arms. (Y/N) and I then began to laugh, learning of a new side of Felix..

(TIME SKIP)

(Felix's POV)

As I waved goodbye to (Y/N) and Dimitri, I couldn't help but smile at them. They worked so hard to take care of their child...I just can't help but feel inspired...

UHG...what the heck am I saying..

Anyway as I walked back to my room I saw Ingrid and Sylvain talking to each other near the cafeteria. "Hey you two!" I called they noticed me and began making their way over to me. "Hi Felix." Ingrid smiled.

"What are you two doing out here?" Ingrid groaned and glared at Sylvain, "Well someone didn't know where to go so I had to help him out." Sylvain smiled, "Ah,well it was fun" Ingrid hit him on the head.

"What about you, what are you doing here?" Ingrid asked. "I just came back from training..with Dimitri and (Y/N)." Ingrid smiled, "Oh,how were they?" 

"Fine..they were just fine." Ingrid sighed, " Man I wonder how the two of them do it..having a kid..it must be hard for the both of them." I nodded, I knew that it must've been hard for them to taking care of Haru...I mean all the war and everything..it must be hard. 

"Oh,come to think of it no one volunteered to do a baby shower for Haru." I turned to Sylvain, "A..baby shower? What is that?" 

"It's a party that celebrates the birth of a child basically. But the sad thing is that the parents of the child don't do the party, someone else has to volunteer for it." Ingrid said, "Ooo maybe I should do it! It'll be fun."

Sylvain shrugged, "Well, you wouldn't be able to do it alone." Ingrid sighed, "I..I could try,-"

"I'l help." Ingrid and Sylvain turned to me with shock,even I was shocked...I..volunteered to help... for Dimitri... 

"Really! Thanks Felix!" Ingrid said happily. I sighed knowing that it was too late to back down now. "ALRIGHT THEN! Let's do it!"

-TIME SKIP (2 WEEKS LATER)-

(Dimitri's POV)

Ingrid had called me and (Y/N) over to the courtyard for some reason, so me and (Y/N) along with Haru walked to the courtyard. "I wonder what she wants?" (Y/N) asked cradling Haru in her arms. We walked past a few guards who smiled at us as we past..but the smiles were almost...sneaky.

We then made the final turn and met up with Ingrid, "Hello there here just right past this corridor." Me and (Y/N) looked at each other with concern in our eyes. Then all of a sudden Ingrid yelled, "SURPRISE!" and pointed to a private part of the courtyard.

Me and (Y/N) gasped at the sight, a blue sign saying "Welcome Haru!" on the wall,and a light blue cake with Haru,me,and (Y/N)'s name iced on it, and then there were banners and streamers with Haru's name on them..it looked amazing.

"So..what do you guys think? Me and Felix worked hard on this for the last couple weeks." I looked at her in shock, "Felix?! He helped you?"

"Yes, that I did." I turned around to see Felix with an annoyed expression on his face. I then heard a sniffle next to me, I turned to see (Y/N) crying. "T-Thank you..thank you both of you..this is just too kind." Ingrid and Felix smiled at her, "No problem (Y/N)..we just wanted to do a little something special for you guys."

Felix nodded and rubbed the back of his head with an embarrassed expression, "Y-yeah..this is just a thank you for being a good teacher that's all."

Me and (Y/N) exchanged a glance and laughed, (Y/N) handed me Haru and walked over to the both of them and brought them into a huge hug. 

"Thank you...can I ask you guys something?" Felix and Ingrid looked at one another, "Would you guys be okay with being Haru's..godparents?"

Ingrid and Felix looked at her with surprise then their expression became happy ones. "Y-Yeah sure! I would love to." Ingrid said with joy. Felix laughed, "Sure...I wouldn't mind." The two of them began to laugh as I walked over to them.

"Thank you guys...if anything were to happen to us..me and (Y/N) trust Haru to you, and we hope that you'll take care of him." I said with a smile. They both nodded at us.

"Yes..we promise." they said with the most happiest expression I have ever seen them have...
