(3rd Person POV)
The crowd of soilder marched down the hills of the meadow near the ruins of the old monastery. "Hey boss are you sure this is the way?" Lieutenant Ruik asked.
"Yes this is the way, there is said to be a man in those ruins and his head is worth a fortune." Captain Jusaka replied. Lieutenant Ruik shivered, "Alright...if you say so cap."
They continued there march until the Captain stopped, along with everyone else. "Captain? What's the matter?" Lieutenant Ruik asked. Captain Jusaka smiled and pointed his sword towards the monastery, "There he is..." he said.
Lieutenant Ruik looked out into the horizon to see a tall man with a spear just standing there. He had tried blood all over his dark black armor, his blue cape was also covered with blood, and his hair was all ruffled and messy.
"ALRIGHT MEN! HE IS ALONE CHARGE!" and with that a 1,000 soilders ran down the hill towards the man. The man glared at the men and just stood there...waiting...
Then it all happened in a flash all the men were down...dead on the ground the Captain was also dead all that remained was Lieutenant Ruik. He looked up at the man with fear..his blue eye was filled with rage..and vengeance, the other eye however was covered up by a patch.
"W-who the hell are you?" Lieutenant Ruik asked the ma holding his wounded chest. The man knelt next to him and whispered into his ear, "The devil." and with that he stabbed Lieutenant Ruik in his chest..killing him.
The man stood up and looked at the sky..."I will never be the same person I used to be..not anymore..." he lifted his hand and stared at the ring attached to his ring finger.
A woman them came to mind...a woman he knew he could never see or touch again..
"I'm sorry (Y/N)....I am no longer the man you loved.." and with that the man walked back into the monastery without a second glance at the horrible scene he created...
