Chapter 8

It was 8 o clock in the evening. Kong has not reached office. Arthit was looking out from his window. Kong is not a kind of person who comes late. He is always on time. Always on dot. But why he is late now. Did something happen to him? Was what going inside Arthit's head.

Knot was not there too in the office. If knot was available he would have asked him to go and check on Kong. Knot is like a mother hen. Arthit know knot for more than 100 years. I was during time of war. He saved knot from dying from some assassins from then he was with him. Arthit was so lonely that time. He thought whoever come into his way that day. He will take him or her in. Is that how it happened. From then knot never left arthit side. He was always around arthit protecting him. Always keeping his radar up. Somewhat arthit felt that knot was like some long lost brother.

Arthit was still starting outside the window with all the past thoughts running through his mind. He does not remember everything but he remember what was important to him.

He cannot forget one person in his life that was his human love. It was when he was changed into vampire but the love of his life lost his soul to demons to save arthit.

A soul for a soul was the bargain. His love gave his life to save him. He said he had no regrets in dying for him. The last word from his love is still ringing in his ears.

"Don't make my sacrifice go in vain. Stay alive. Stay happy. I will come for you one day." I was what he said saving arthit from dead bed.

He loved that one person with everything he had and still love him. He is holding on to the promise he made.

I will come for you one day.

As the time passes arthit was losing his hope. He started to act coldly and indifferently to everyone. He miss him. His warmth. His smile. His laugh. More than anything he misses his love. The feeling of getting loved by someone without expecting anything in return. He missed that love. People have became selfish day by day. He has not a single person who love someone selflessly. Nowdays it has more become like exchange. If you give this then I give that.

It was then arthit saw Kong rushing to the office. He also someone else with Kong. No not with Kong but he was following him from behind. It won't be easily noticed by a human but it will not escape the eye of a vampire.

Seeing that arthit hurriedly went down. He is already in hell lot of problem. He doesn't want a human body dead drained out of blood in his premises.

Virgin blood is always trouble.

When Kong was about to enter the office he was shocked by the presence of someone standing in front of him.

When he raised his head he relaxed a little since it was arthit.

"Sorry sir my bike broke on the way" Kong hurriedly tried to explain.

"Get in" It was what arthit said to Kong when he saw him. He was not ready to hear anything right now. He has much more important thing to handle now.

The moment Kong entered the office arthit real face came out.

"Why are you hear? " He asked the other vampire who  following Kong.

"You ask me that. We both are of same kind. That little virgin attracted me during the party. I wanted to have e ataste of him" It was what he said.

"Stop causing trouble Dan. The trouble caused by you is enough already" Said arthit but other one was not willing to listen.

"I don't know how you kept your hands to yourself but I am not allowing that little thing to es already from me" The other one said.

"He is mine. Touch him. I don't regret to break your neck. Leave"

Before a war can breakout between these two knot entered the scene.

Seeing knot dan started to retreat. Dan can take out a single person but he knows he cannot take both of them down.

Though he made sure of one thing. He will not let that man escape his grip easily. Not without him getting a taste of him.
