Erkenci Kus episode 3 recap

As per usual of Ayse's episodes, this episode was heavy Canem and sooo much stuff happens as a result so im sorry for the long recap but its necessary because Agva and that photo shoot are a dream that made me love this show. 

We had the opportunity to actually see Canem fall for each other... while in American shows this episode would be nothing more than a montage and then a kiss, we were able to see their conversations. We saw Can and Sanem getting to know each other: they talk, argue, and really learn about one another 

 "love is the most talkative of all feelings"- Robert musil... and it is beautiful to watch. All right here we go ep 3...

1. First can we just discuss how a Shirtless Yaman is the best way to start any episode of any show...ok the thirst is real and it needed to be said .... so we know this is a fictional story because Sanem would have definitely seen that albatross tattoo if this was in a real life situation – she supposedly doesn't realize this tattoo until agva but who would not notice his chest in this situation my only thought is that when she saw it she was too absorbed by her being caught in his room to register it... but she does have a photographic memory and at one point we do see her stare directly at his chest so I don't know lol but I love the albatross tattoo reveal moment later so I'll let it go

2. I thought originally Can would be jealous and misunderstand Sanem and Emre's relationship- when he watched them walk off at the bbq and the Can thinking Sanem was going to emre's room, and other moments later on that I thought would play a role in future drama and misunderstandings mixed with exposing her lie... but I was wrong lol I mean it was the first time watching a dizi so I cut myself some slack

3. Can grabbing at his shirt on Sanem in two locations ...my heart flutters... that look they both give each other realizing the ridiculousness of this situation mixed with the heat of their closeness- it was hot, cute, and funny... you saw in their face the confusion shift to amusement. Grrr that stupid buzzer broke the tension... And I love how obsessed he is with her engagement ring – its like he doesn't want to believe it could be true and Sanem doesn't understand that he is interested in her

4. Akif and Metin- the boys are back in town! I missed them so much in the rest of this series. It is so nice to see them and the three musketeers together... I love how, before Sanem, they were able to bring out the fun and playful side of Can

5. Can was so sweet and understanding with Deren when she apologized for getting drunk. I was really rooting for Deren and Metin .... They could have been so good together...sigh ... sometimes the spy* heard us but the answer was no

6. I love ayhan's no nonsense sass in this episode, whenever Sanem would says things to Ayhen that only Sanem would believe- ayhan and Can had the same response – when sanem goes to them both - I was in Can bey's room by mistake I meant to go to emres... they both were like what?! You meant to go to emres room half naked is that supposed make it better?! this is the start of Sanem never explaining her actions fully at first and allowing people specifically Can to jump to some bad conclusions

7. Mivkebe

a. She was a little mean this episode saying teasingly she wanted to go on vacation to Galapagos and send sanem a postcard lmao harsh mivkebe harsh...and nihat is so innocent hes like ya sanem would really love that ... the look mivkebe gives nihat after he says that was priceless ...also her not believing it would be possible for Can to be interested in Sanem harsh Mama Aydin harsh... I Know its bc of status but still

b. OMG mivkebe watching a dizi on mute because she has watched it so many times she doesn't need the sound to know what is being said and happening...lmao I never paid attention to this moment before .... I think we all can relate to her ...its like ayse knew before we knew that this would be us lol
