"What are you doing here?" Laura snapped and immediately went out from her office when she saw me passing by. Hinabol niya ako as I was about to entered tito Condrado's office—my dad's office.

"I said, what are you doing here, Ax!?" She instantly created a scene when she harshly held my other arm—na kaagad ko ring binawi. Ayoko kong patulan siya ngayon.

A lot of things happened lately and I have a little tolerance of people like her baka't matapon ko siya sa labas ng building.

"Ma'am, do you have an appointment to sir Zharte?" Harang sa'kin ng isang empleyado. Nasa tapat na ako ng opisina—namin. Yet these people here were not oriented.

I smiled at the nervous employee na panay ang tingin sa likuran ko. Obviously, Laura might have sent bad signals.

"Kailan pa nag-pa-pa-appoint ang may-ari ng company that you're currently working in?" The young woman was taken aback. I turned to glare at Laura's corner na mas lalo pa palang namula sa sinabi.

"S-Sorry po, ma'am.." She was apologetic as hell—pero naiintindihan ko naman. Habang ang mga mata ko ay kay Laura pa rin nakatingin. I wanna let her feel, trigerred. "Don't be, miss. I understand na hindi kayo na-orient ng pinsan ko na babawiin ko na ang kompanya ko." Saka ako tumalikod.

I smirked and faced her again. Bakas dito ang pamumutla—she wanted to scream out loud. Nakakuyom rin ang mga kamao niya.

"No, wait—wala naman palang babawiin. Kasi, in the first place, hindi ko ibinigay ang company na ipinundar ng mga magulang ko. Right, Laura?" Laglag ang panga nito after that blatant statement—she really needed to wake up. Masyado na palang lumalaki ang ulo niya and I really wonder how she managed our company and all of the employees here. Halatang takot sa kaniya.

"O, hija. You're here—I'm sorry I was too busy lately.." Kaagad akong sinalubong ni tito nang makapasok sa loob ng opisina ni papa Rixus. After long long years—here I was. Standing in the very same place kung saan nag-uusap sila ni mama sa negosyo.

Their dreams not only for themselves but for everyone. Lalo na sa mga empleyado sa kompanya.

"It's okay, tito. I know you were in business travel abroad." He pulled a chair for me saka ako naupo nang bigla ring bumakas ang pintuan. Mabibigat na hakbang ang ginawa ni Laura as she entered headed straight to her father's corner.

"Dad! Don't tell me papayag ka!?" Napailing ako. Even tito was a bit surprised by how her daughter reacted. Tito silently glanced at me and seemed asking his apology in behalf of her daughter's peevishness.

"Hija, Laura—this company isn't ours. I know, darating ang panahon na babalik si Axiel Ross to claim what's hers.." There, it came from her father's mouth. Narinig niya. So she better know where to step aside next time.

"But dad—that's ridiculous! You worked hard for years! 'Di ba sabi mo—papalitan mo ang name ng company on my name? Paano nay un, daddy!?" Papalitan ang pangalan ng company?

"Laura, look. You really didn't listen that time, did you?" Tito was holding his last patience towards her daughter. "Papalitan ang pangalan kung legal na ibibigay ni Axiel ang company in the future. C'mon now, please excuse us—mag-uusap pa kami ng pinsan mo.." Tito said and everything was clear to me. Kasi naman, wala akong interes sa pamamalakad ng company namin not until I realized my parent's hardwork and sacrifices for years when they built this.

Nagdadabog na lumabas si Laura. Great! Hakutin na niya ang mga gamit niya kasi gagawin kong stock room yun! Tsk.

"Hija, I am glad that you have an interest in managing your late parent's business." Masayang sabi ni Tito. He was even coaxing me for years na bumalik na sa Pilipinas and took over it myself.

"I will try, tito.. Pero, I need you as the vice president. I couldn't do this alone." I affirmed. Tumango ito saka ginanap ang kamay ko na nakapatong sa mesa.

"Thank you, hija for giving me a chance.. You know, let's officialy announced this in a grand business ball." Why not? I nodded. Saka ako nagpasalamat kay tito for taking care of our company sa loob ng maraming taon. Sadyang lumaki lang talaga ang ulo ng anak nito—and tito Condrado was all hell right when he was still coaxing me to come back here.. And now, I am ready.
