We just arrived at the venue. Hindi ko alam pero naasiwa talaga ako the way he stared at me—maniac! Alam kong kanina pa niya ako tinitingnan sa loob ng sasakyan. Tss.

"Good evening, welcome to Zharte's Plaza and Hotel." Hotel staff welcomed us. What? Tiningala ko ang malaking building—my family's owned hotel! Iisa pala ang even na dadaluhan namin? Damn, small world, huh.

"Is it a coincidence that you have the same surname with the CEO or are you related?" I was still dumbfounded when he asked that. Nagmamaang-maangan ba siya o sadyang wala siyang alam?

Marami ng mga bisita ang pumasok sa loob. The last time I was here was too long ago that I could hardly remember the details—but I was sure, I was with my parents..

"Well, you don't have to answer it though." I heard him added saka ito naunang pumasok sa loob. I followed him with my heavy footsteps.

I have many childhood memories in here, I know—beautiful memories kasama ang mga magulang ko.

I saw my cousin, Laura Zharte approached Yzylla nang makapasok na kami sa mismong ballroom hall na nasa lobby lang.

My spoiled cousin. She always bullied me long before—well, she had grown into a sophisticated woman.

"You're here, Yzy! I'm so happy—finally, ma-me-meet ka na ni dad." She chuckled and was very elated. She even planted a hello-kiss to his cheek. Tsaka niya ako napansin sa likuran na parang nakakita ng multo sa gulat.

"Cousin? Ax, is that really you? Oh my.." Saka niya ako nilapitan at niyakap ng mahigpit. Kailan pa 'to naging mabait? Tinapik ko lang ang balikat niya.

It's been years, yes. Yet I could still feel her fraud act. Kunting acting pa, Laura. I knew her.

"I'm so glad to see you! Sabi ni dad—you couldn't make it dahil may work ka? But anyway, you're here! Great.."

Pilit ko siyang nginitian—for Pete's sake! This was all staged.

"She's with me, Laura." Biglang sabat ni Yzylla ngayon. Laura got an owl eyes. I silently gestured him not to say anything about my job—for being his bodyguard. That's too confedential.

"Oh.. Really?" Laura here arched her brows—does she like Yzylla? Sa kaniya na! No need to act na para bang aagawin ko siya sa kaniya—tsk. Childish!

Nagulat ko nang hulihin niya ang maliit kong bewang and pulled me closer to his side.

"Laura, this is my girlfriend—Axiel Ross." I shrieked in horror—in silent! What the hell was he saying!? Pero hindi ako ma-react ng tama coz Laura here was eyeing at me—sinusukat kung gaano ka-totoo ang pakilala ni Yzylla rito.

Well, I understand why did he say that now. Guess he also knew how annoyingly inquisitive Laura was—how much she knew this woman, huh?

I tried to relax myself.

"Wow, I am speechless. See you guys later!" Oh, thank God! Saka ito nawala sa paningin naming dal'wa ni Yzylla. Kaagad ko rin siyang tiningnan ng masama. But I decided not to say a single word—eyes were lurking at us as we finally entered the hall. All camera's were flashing like hell—urg.

"Smile, baby.." Bulong niya sa tenga ko.

Something creepy crawled beneath my system—hell! That word was too f***ing weird to bare but I smiled in front of the cameras flashing.
