Chapter 23~A Butlers View

A/N~Here's a new POV for you guys~ Time for Mr. Butler to get the spotlight ^v^ Also, sorry once again for a late chapter lol

Baron's POV:

I step down from a small ladder and wipe my forehead, "There...It's finally finished...~" I say with a smile. Chisa finishes her sweeping and goes over to where I am, "That looks great~! Just like new~" she says with a slight laugh. I laugh some, "Yea..." I say, looking down a bit, "It's hard to believe that it's been twelve years since that incident happened here..."

Chisa looks over and sighs some, "I had no idea Nagito went through something like that..." she says, sitting in one of the table chairs, "You were the one who saved him from that fire right...?" I walk over and sit next to her, "Yea...I went in and saved him...I tried looking for his parents, but...they were already dead..." I say with a slight sigh.

She put a hand on my shoulder, "You did the best you could Baron...~ No one would've known that a fire would break out like that..." she says with a slight smile. I look over and give her a small smile before hearing the ballroom doors open. I look over to see young masters two friends, Chiaki and Souda.

"We finally found you guys~!" Souda says with a grin. He's a pretty care free boy, though at first glance I would've thought he was someone who picked on young master...but I'm glad he's not~ Chiaki giggles some, "We kinda lost track of time thanks to the game room~" she says, rubbing her arm some. I've actually known about Chiaki being friends with young master, but never met her till today~ She's such a sweet young lady...~

I laugh some, "It's alright~ We were just fixing up the ballroom for you guys...~" I say, making them look around the room surprised, "So this is where we're having our dance~?" Chiaki asks, sounding excited. I nodded, "This is the place~" I say with a kind smile.

"Where's Nagito and Hajime? I thought they would be helping you two...?" Souda asked curiously. Chisa and I look at each other and sigh some. Chisa looks back at them, "Nagito has...bad memories involving this room..." she says, standing up, "I'll explain more when I drive you two home...~"

They both look at her surprised, but nod their heads. "It's about time for us to leave anyways...~" Chisa says with a slight laugh. I look out the window, noticing that it's already evening. I guess time goes by quickly when your fixing up a room. I should be preparing dinner for young master...it's his first night back home~ I want it to be special...~

I look back over at them, "Thank you guys so much for taking care of my young master...~ Feel free to come back anytime you two want to~" I say as I get up, walking them out of the ballroom and to the front doors. "Of course, we'll all be back tomorrow, since I'm excusing these four from their classes~" she says with a slight giggle.

"Woooohoooo! No class~!" Souda says happily. Chiaki smiles, "Thank you Ms. Yukizome~ Were gonna need all the time we can get to finish decorations...~" she says with a slight giggle. Chisa smiles some, "Of course~ I'll also be bringing over the food planning group later tomorrow, so your group and theirs can go over what foods you guys will have...~" she says, making both of them frown. I'm guessing they're students who don't like young master...

Souda crosses his arms, "They're not gonna listen to Nagito...none of the groups will..." he says, making Chisa sigh some. "That's why I'll be here too...I'll make sure they listen...~" she says with a reassuring smile. "We'll make sure they listen to him too~" Chiaki says to her with a bright smile. I open one of the doors for them, saying my goodbyes before closing the door back. I'm so happy that young master has friends who look out for him...~ I haven't seen him this happy in a long time...I've missed his sweet smile...~ When he lost his parents, I actually wanted to adopt him, but I felt that it was too soon for him...so I left it alone. Maybe one day I'll ask him, but...it would be difficult considering I already have a son...it would be awkward for them...

I sigh some and walk upstairs. I should go check on young master and Sir Hajime...they've been up there for a while...~ I smile to myself. They're so perfect for each other...~ I can already tell and I haven't known Hajime very long...~ Young master always looks his happiest when he's by him~ I noticed while I was giving them the tour that they were close the whole time...~ Hajime would be the perfect husband for him~

When I get to the young masters room I knock on his door, "Young master~?" I open it some to look inside, seeing them both asleep on his bed. I laugh a bit and walk over to them. I could tell from young masters face that he was crying, I guess he told Hajime about the incident.

It's hard to forget about that day, but the one thing I can't forget...is the look on that little girls face when I brought young master out of the room. She was...grinning...like she enjoyed seeing young master break down. I could tell in her eyes that she had no sympathy for him...I even found out when she left young masters middle school that she and her sister would bully him. It frustrates me...she even went as far to say that the fire was young masters fault, which is an obvious lie since...I saw what actually happened. Of course, young master always blamed himself because of her...he would have to hear the truth from her own mouth to believe it...

I smile at the two and walk back out of the room. Looks like breakfast will be when I make his welcome home meal...oh well...~ I'm sure he would love to have his mother's homemade bagels...~ They were always his favorite~

Nagitos POV:

I wake up the next morning, feeling a lot calmer then I was yesterday. It was hard for me to tell Hajime about that, but I knew I had to...I'm glad I finally got it off my chest...~ I sit up some, realizing that...I was laying on Hajime. I blush, remembering what happened before I fell asleep. I touched my lips with a smile. W-We...kissed...~ He was my first kiss...~ I was afraid that Katsu was gonna steal it from me that day, but thankfully Hajime saved me from him...~ I'm not sure why he even tried to do that...he's never been that way before...Oh well~ I don't have to worry about Katsu anymore, though...I do still have to worry about...him....

I'm snapped out of my thoughts when I noticed Hajime was starting to wake up. I smile at him once his eyes open, "G-Good morning Hajime~" I say with a slight giggle. He blushes some and smiles warmly, "Good Morning Nagito~" he says with a slight laugh. I cuddle up to him, my blush getting more noticeable. I could stay in this bed all day with him...he's so warm...~

Unfortunately, there was a knock on my bedroom door, which means there's definitely no way that'll happen..."Young master~ It's time for breakfast, do you need me to come in and-" I cut Baron off quickly, knowing what he's gonna say, "I-I'll be right there!" I say, quickly getting up and finding a change of clothes.

Hajime sits up and stretches, getting out of bed and walking over to me. I hand him a change of clothes, quickly going to my bathroom to change. I know we're both guys, but I'm still embarrassed to change in front of him...I put on my normal clothes and walk out of the bathroom, seeing Hajime in the clothes I let him borrow.

Hajime fixes his collar and turns towards me, "How do I look...~?" he asks curiously. Once I saw him, I felt a blush spread across my face. I gave him one of Baron's older outfits...it's a suit jacket that has the same green as my jacket, the bottom fading into black. He's also wearing a white collared shirt underneath along with black pants. He looks...so handsome in it...~

"Y-You look great~" I say with a blush still glued to my face. Hajime laughs a bit and walks over to me, taking my hand, "Lets head down~" he says with a smile. I nod and open my door, leaving with him and walking downstairs. We walk over to the dining room, where I see Baron waiting for us at the entrance, "Good Morning you two~ I have a nice breakfast made for you both~" he says, smiling warmly.

"T-Thank you Baron~" I say with a smile as I walk into the dining room, freezing up the moment I see a certain face at the table. Hajime notices who the person is and glares. I can tell he's not so thrilled to see him...Baron notices us and walks over, "Oh! I forgot to tell you that my son was staying with me here~ You remember Kinzo right~?" He says with bit of a laugh.

How can I forget...not only is he the son of my butler, but he's also the other lackey...the one I was most worried about...
