Chapter 8~Planning time~

Chiaki's POV:

I look up from my game to see Hajime walking through the class door, Nagito following not that far behind. I smile to myself. Looks like Hajime took my advice...~ I wonder how things went...

Once Nagito gets to his desk,  I look over at him, "Good morning Nagito~" I say happily. He looks over at me with a small smile, "G-Good morning Chiaki...~" he says, sounding like he's nervous.

"What's wrong Nagito...? Did something happen?" I ask him curiously, though I already know what's going on. He looks down some and twiddles his thumbs, "W-Well...Hajime bought me breakfast...a-and he made me lunch..." Nagito says as a smile forms onto his face. Woah...I've never seen him smile like that...~ This is...the happiest I've seen him in a long time...~ The last time was when I started playing games with him every day at school...looks like things are going well~

"Aww that's so sweet of him to do, he must really like you~" I say with a giggle. Nagito blushes and pulls up his hood, trying to hide it, "W-W-Were just friends Chiaki! T-That's all...this i-is the kind of thing f-friends do for each other..." he says as he twirls one of his jacket strings. Oh Nagito...why can't you get that he's falling for you...I can tell your falling for him...I unconsciously sigh.

Nagito glances over at me, "A-Are you okay?" He asks me, looking a little confused. I look back over at him, "Oh yea I'm fine...~" I say smiling a bit. Nagito looks at me fully like he realized something, "O-Oh Yea! S-Something else happened..." he says with a blush on his face.

I look at him curiously, "What happened?" I ask as Nagito takes a breath and pulls off his hood, looking like he's calmed down a little. "H-Hajime...wants to c-cook diner for me...a-at his house." he says, sounding a bit nervous.

My inner self is squealing happily. I knew Hajime would do it! I smile happily, "That's great, maybe you two can get to know each other better~" I say, sounding kinda excited. Nagito looks back down, "I-I haven't given him an a-answer yet..." he says twirling his jacket string again. I sigh some. I figured that he wouldn't accept right away, but I'll make sure he says yes~ I giggle a little, "Just tell him yes...~ I mean you get to spend your free time with a new friend and have a home cooked dinner...doesn't that sound nice~?" I say with a smile, Nagito looking over to where Hajime's sitting. "Y-Yea it does, b-but what if I m-mess up everything...? I-I don't want him to b-be mad at me..." he says, sounding sad.

"It'll be okay Nagito...just give it a shot~ I'm sure it'll be fun!" I say with a warm smile. He sits there for a moment like he's thinking, until he finally looks at me, "O-Okay...~" Nagito says, smiling a little. Yes~! It didn't take me as long as I thought to convince him, but he's gonna say yes! Hehe, now we just have to wait...~

~Time skip~

Hajime's POV:

Class is finally over~! It felt so long today...I've been waiting all day for that lunch bell to ring. Normally I hate going to lunch because I get no peace in the cafeteria, but this time...I'm not going to the cafeteria and I also have something to look forward to at lunch...~ An answer...that's what I've been waiting for this whole class period...I really hope he decides to come...~

I wait till the rest of the class leaves, though some took longer then others because they tried dragging me to lunch...I ended up making an excuse that took a lot of convincing. Once they do I walk over to Chiaki, Souda, and Nagito, who were the last three there, "Heya guys, were eating in the room today, Nagito wanted to if that's okay with you guys~" I say, looking over at Nagito with a smile. He looks kinda nervous...

Souda grins happily, "Sweet~! I was gonna ask if we could eat there anyways, so it's cool with me~" he says, sounding excited. "Of course its okay with me Nagito~" Chiaki says with a sweet smile. After gathering our things we head to the hidden room, making sure that no one else was around. Once we got inside, Nagito and Chiaki took the beanbag chairs while Souda and I sat on the floor.

Nagito looks at us like he feels bad, "I-I need to get a c-couple more beanbag chairs f-for you guys..." he says sadly. Souda laughs and throws his hands behind his head, "I have some at home that I'll bring tomorrow morning before school, so it's all good~" he says happily. Nagito smiles and nods in agreement, picking up the bento box I made him and opening it. I really hope he likes what I made...

Nagitos eyes widen in amazement, "T-This all looks s-so good Hajime~" He says, sounding excited. Souda looks over at me with a smirk, "So you made him a bento~ Your such a good-" I interrupt him by elbowing him in the side to make him shut up, blushing a bit. He winced and rubbed his side, "I was gonna say friend...what were you thinking Hajime~?" Souda says, laughing a little.

I roll my eyes and look back at Nagito, who was happily enjoying the bento. I'm so glad he likes it~ when he looks up at me I smile some, making him blush and look back down shyly. I rest my face in my hand. How could anybody hate him...he's...so kind... and...cute...~ I feel my face heat up. I shouldn't be feeling this way, but...I'm not wrong. He truly is...~ I bet even Chiaki thinks so...

I glance over at Chiaki, who's nudging Nagito's arm. Nagito looks back up at me, "H-Hajime...?" He says, snapping me out of my thoughts and looking up at him. "Y-Yes Nagito~?" I say, smiling some. Nagito takes a deep breath, "M-My answer is y-yes...~" He says with a kind smile.

"Great~! We'll leave for my house together after school~" I say happily. I can't stop smiling, he's gonna come over~ I'll make sure to make something great for him! Nagito smiles and nods, "A-Alright~"

Chiaki notices us and smiles, "Alright guys~ as much as I would love to just sit here and chat, we need to figure out what our theme and decorations should be for the dance~" she says, making me sigh some. Oh yeah, that's the main reason we were all meeting...I haven't really thought about what our theme could be...I'm not even interested in going...

"Maybe it could be a 'Romantic Night in Paris'~ We could dress up all fancy and the girls could wear gorgeous dresses~" Souda says, sighing dreamily. He's probably thinking of his idea for just Sonia, but that doesn't mean everyone else would be interested. I laugh a bit, "That's so cheesy Souda, I bet every school has done that...ours should be unique..." I said as I leaned back on the wall.

Chiaki puts her hand up to her chin like she's thinking, "Maybe we could go with a 'Masquerade Ball' and wear costumes with fancy masks~?" She says, laughing a bit. "That sounds like something you would do for Halloween! Its nowhere near Halloween..." Souda says with a pout, which makes me laugh.

I look over at Nagito who looks like he has an idea, but doesn't want to say it, "What do you think it should be Nagito~?" I ask curiously. He looks up while twiddling his fingers, "W-Well...I was thinking...we c-could do something like a 'Night in Paradise' a-and make it like a tropical island...?" he says, smiling a bit and sounding nervous.

"Woah! I like that idea~!" Souda says, sounding surprised and excited. Chiaki looks at Nagito, smiling happily, "I love it~! We could make palm trees and make the gym walls look like a beach scenery~" she says, sounding excited herself. "We could also get the food team to make tropical snacks and drinks for the theme~ This is such a great idea, I bet the others will love it!" I say, smiling warmly at him.

Nagito's expression changes and he looks down some, "T-The others won't like it...I-I thought of the idea...s-so I know they'll h-hate it..." he says, sounding upset. I frown, "Remember what I said Nagito...don't let them get to you...we will tell Ms. Yukizome your theme plan tomorrow~ If they don't like it, who cares...~" I say, laughing a little, "Don't be afraid to express your ideas~"

Nagito looks back up at me and smiles, "O-Okay..~" he says softly. I look at the other two, "Are you guys okay with a tropical dance theme~?" I ask with a smile. "Duh! It's a great idea~ I say let's do it~!" Souda says with a grin. Chiaki nods, smiling some, "I agree~" I smile and nod, "Alright~! We're all in agreement. Next time we meet we will figure out decoration ideas!" I say with a clap.

Almost on cue the bell rings, signaling the end of lunch.
