Chapter {39}

After too many rounds in the game, everyone were already drunk. They laughed and enjoyed hearing many different stories from each other.

Jongsuk:"My turn nowwww"

Jongsuk said in a drunk tone.

Jongsuk:"It is...it is somehow similar to the first question but....it's different...."

Chanhee:"Just ask dudeee"

Jongsuk:"So...I rejected someone..."

Chanhee suddenly chuckled.

Chanhee:"I never did, all who confessed to me were soooooooo handsome"

Jungkook:"I, myself, was rejected, so please don't remind me bro"

Jongsuk:"How about you Miyeon?"

Miyeon was suddenly snapped out of her thoughts when Jongsuk asked.

Miyeon:"Huh?"

Jongsuk:"Have you ever rejected someone?"

Miyeon kept quiet for moment once she remembered Jinyoung, she squeezed the cup she was holding before pouring all the wine into her mouth.

Jongsuk:"ohh, Spill the tea gurl"

Jongsuk said as he wiggled his eyebrows.

Miyeon looked down at her linked fingers before speaking.

Miyeon:"When I was 16, I met a guy who I fell in love with later...he was my first love, I remember how much my heart used to beat so fast because of him, whenever I'm around him, I feel like...the happiest girl alive...you can call me over-dramatic but it was the first time someone knew how to make my heart beat so fast...I loved the guy who I rejected..."

Miyeon took a deep breathe trying not to burst out crying once she remembered how she broke Jinyoung's heart.

Chanhee:"And...what made you reject him then?"

Chanhee asked with a concerned expression.

Miyeon sniffed.

Miyeon:"Chiwon, my step-father, he didn't allow me to talk with boys or go out with them, so when he started to suspect me that I liked that guy , no, LOVED him, he threatened me that if I started dating that guy, he will fire his father, since his father works for Chiwon...and I....I just had no other choice..."

Tears streamed down Miyeon's pinkish cheeks.

Chanhee&Jongsuk:"What the heck?"

Jungkook's hands clenched into a fist in anger, the more he hear about Chiwon, the more he hates him, he hated the fact that Miyeon had to live this way, being only a toy for Chiwon to do whatever he wants with her.

Miyeon:"Onetime, he confessed to me, I-I felt...I felt so happy, I felt like my life has been completed now, but...but then I remembered what Chiwon told me...so...s-so I had to break his heart and reject him...I felt like...I was broken the most...I cried my eyes out that night, and one week later...I figured out that he started dating someone else which honestly...broke me more than I was..."

Jongsuk:"That sucks..."

Jungkook slowly caressed Miyeon's hand.

Jungkook:"Are you okay now?"

Chanhee:"Yeah, are you over him now?"

Both Jungkook and Chanhee asked in worrisome.

Miyeon looked at Jungkook's hand that was caressing hers then looked up at Jungkook who was staring at her with a sad yet a concerned expression.
