Jungkook:"Aish....this little.."

Jungkook cursed underneath his breathe once he looked down from the window.

Jungkook's mom:"I-I'm sorry...I should have locked the window"

Jungkook turned to look at his mom.

Jungkook:"Don't apologize mom, mistakes like that can happen"

Jungkook's mom:"What are we going to do now?"

Jungkook:"I-I don't know....we must not let Miyeon know about it at any cost, her situation is already bad, we don't want it to get worse"

Jungkook's mom:"Y-You're right..."

Jungkook:"Listen mom...we need to fix the door's lock and put on a security alarm tomorrow, just in case she tried to break in again, Miyeon is NOT safe when she is freely roaming around like that, and Miyeon can't be alone, one of us should always stay by her side no matter what, I don't trust this girl"

Jungkook's mom:"Don't worry, I will get all of that done tomorrow for sure"

Jungkook slowly walked into the room, trying not to wake Miyeon up.

He decided to be by her side for the rest of the night, to make sure that Daeun won't break in suddenly into the house, especially that the door's lock was still broken.

He grabbed a chair and pulled it towards Miyeon's bed. He sat on it and looked towards the rain drops that were on the window. It was raining outside.

Miyeon:"Why are you here..."

Jungkook got startled once he heard Miyeon's voice. He looked towards her.

Jungkook:"D-Did I wake you up?"

Miyeon:"No...I woke up 10 mins before you came here..."

Miyeon coldly replied. Jungkook noticed her teary eyes and immediately knew that she was crying because of her grandma.

Jungkook:"If you're feeling uncomfortable,
I can go—"

Miyeon:"No, stay"

Miyeon turned around, laying down on her back now, and stared up at the ceiling with no expression. Only tears
rolling down her cheeks, they were the only things that showed feelings in her expressionless face.

It was a moment of a cold silence that filled the atmosphere until Miyeon broke it.

Miyeon:"My mom was pregnant when Chiwon killed her"

Jungkook blinked in confusion.

Jungkook:"Y-You knew?"

Miyeon shook her head, not moving her eyes from the ceiling.

Miyeon:"Chiwon didn't only kill my mother...he killed my brother...he killed his own son....he killed my brother before he could see the light"

Her hand went to touch her bracelet. Remembering the how her mother looked like before dying...
