Chapter {27}

Jungkook:"I finished"

Jungkook said before removing the ice from my hand and putting it aside.

He looked up at me and caught me staring, but I didn't look away,I just kept staring at him remembering Jinyoung.

Jungkook:"W-What? why are you staring at me like that?"

I just shook my head and brushed it off.

Miyeon:"Nothing"

I said before grabbing my fork to eat, I know that Jungkook must be staring at me in confusion right now.

I moved on already so I shouldn't be thinking about Jinyoung now.

Jungkook:"Um, Miyeon"

Miyeon:"Yes?"

Jungkook:"How are we going to eat with our masks on?"

Miyeon:"Underneath your mask? I mean, just pull the mask a little bit away from your mouth and then eat, it's gonna be hard yeah, but it's worth it"

Jungkook just nodded his head and started eating.

I noticed that Kai and his friends were still sitting behind Jungkook, I totally forgot about them, and I shouldn't be even staring at them right now, I will look suspicious then.

I looked down at my plate and started eating.

-At the jail-

-Interrogation room-

Detective.Yoon:"Choi Eun, I will be asking you some questions, and you have to answer them honestly, okay?"

Eun nodded her head even tho, she was dead scared from inside if she said something stupid.

Detective.yoon arranged his papers before questioning her.

Detective.Yoon:"As what CEO.Kim said, you are close to Miyeon, right?"

Eun:"Yes, both me and Kyungmi are her best friends"

Detective.Yoon:"Do you and Kyungmi have any relationship with Jeon Jungkook? "

Eun shook her head.

Eun:"No"

Detective.Yoon:"Did you see him in the wedding?"

Eun kept quiet for a moment trying to remember when did she last saw him.

Eun:"Ah yes"

Detective.Yoon:"When and what was he doing?"

Eun:"I was with Kyungmi in the dressing room with Miyeon since she is our best friend, after that, we went to the wedding hall, when I entered there, I saw him and his band preparing themselves to sing, that's the only time I saw him"

Detective.Yoon:"Did he seem suspicious in any way?"

Eun:"No, he seemed pretty happy, I guess because he was going to sing? I don't know really"

 Detective.Yoon:"So you're claming that you never met Jungkook neither his friends, and that you don't have any grudge towards Kim Miyeon, and that, you didn't kidnap her and you're not guilty"

Eun:"Yes"

Detective.Yoon:"But Choi Eun, how can you explain the last chat between you and Kyungmi?"

Kyungmi:"Eun-ssi!"

Kyungmi's face lighten up once she saw Eun came back.

Kyungmi got up along with the others and walked towards Eun.

Kyungmi:"Are you okay? did you do as we planned?"

Eun smiled and nodded her head.

Everyone sighed in relief.

Namjoon:"Guys, we're getting out from here soon"

Hoseok:"We will be proved innocents soon"

Hoseok smiled.

Eun nodded her head feeling relieved.

Jimin:"Good job Eun-ssi"

Jimin smiled warmly at Eun.

Eun smiled back at Jimin, she just hopes that their plan will go well.

-At the restaurant-

Miyeon came back from the restroom after washing her hand and sat down in front of Jungkook.

Jungkook:"Took you so long, We have to pay the bill"

Miyeon:"Sorry, I had to use the bathroom too"

Jungkook just nodded his head before calling the waitress to come so he can pay the bill.

Waitress:"50 dollars please"

Jungkook put his hand inside his pocket and took out his money.

Jungkook's eyes widen when he realized that he only has 12 dollars.

Jungkook looked at Miyeon with a 'We are so screwed' expression.

Miyeon just mouthed 'what?!' since Jungkook didn't pay yet.

The waitress tapped her high heels on the floor getting impatient.

Waitress:"Sir, can you please pay fast, cause I have another works to do so please don't waste my time"

Jungkook:"Uh...actually..."

Jungkook said getting nervous making Miyeon nervous too.

2 couples entered the restaurant walking towards an empty table that was beside Jungkook and Miyeon.

The girl stopped walking once she realized how much Miyeon and Jungkook look familiar to her.

"What's wrong babe?" The guy asked his girlfriend who was staring at Miyeon and Jungkook in suspicious.

"Honey, I feel like I saw these two somewhere" The girl said not moving her eyes from Jungkook and Miyeon.

"What do you mean?" the guy asked. The girl slowly walked towards Miyeon and Jungkook.

The girl's eyes went wide once she realized who are these two and then she suddenly screamed grabbing every human's attention in this restaurant.

"OH MY GOD! THAT'S THE BRIDE'S KIDNAPPER!"
