Thank God that Jiyeon agreed on me staying with her for a while after I come back from Seoul. In fact, she was too happy and excited for me to stay with her, she even said that she was highly okay with me living with her forever.

As I walked on the street, I kept staring at the teddy bear keychain that Jungkook gave me two days ago. A smile grew on my face as I stared at it like it was the most beautiful thing on this earth.

At least I have something to remind me of him and to motivate me into living.

Thank God I was wearing my mask or people would have been creeped out from the huge grin that was on my face.

I closed the door and unlocked it just like how Jungkook told me to.

I yawned feeling tired, I think I need a nap for now till both Jungkook and his mom come back home.

I hummed to a song as I walked into the house. The same song that Jungkook always sings.

Miyeon stopped her tracks once she heard a loud thud coming from the living room.

Her eyes narrowed as her eyebrows twitched together in confusion.

'Is Jungkook's mom still at home?', Miyeon thought to herself .

She was about to go towards the living room when something came into her mind stopping her from doing so...

'What if it was Daeun?', Miyeon thought to herself, not wanting to repeat the same mistake again.

She took out her phone and dailed Jungkook's number, ready to call him just in case it was Daeun...or it could be even the guy she met couple of days ago, Lee Yujun.

She slowly took careful steps towards the living room.

The moment she walked into the living room...
her eyes widened once she saw Jungkook's mom laying on the floor with her hands and her legs tied. A broken vase pieces on the floor which explains the loud thud Miyeon just heard a while ago.

Jungkook's mom looked at her with her teary eyes.

She quickly run towards her. Miyeon knelt down to her level, her hands were trembling as she took off the tape that was on Jungkook's mom's mouth.

Miyeon:"W-What happened?!"

Jungkook's mom:"Y-You need to go! Right now!"

Panic started growing inside Miyeon, eating her from inside,...the blood pounded in her ears, her heart thudded in her chest and for some reasons she felt like,...something really bad is going to happen next.

Miyeon:"W-What? W-Why? W-What happened?"

Words barely came out of Miyeon's lips as her body shivered along with her lips.

Jungkook's mom:"Y-Your groom! Your stepfather! All of them are here! Y-You need to Go! G-Go!
T-They're waiting for you!"

Jungkook's mom yelled in panic and fear, not caring for herself but caring for Miyeon's safety more.

And that's when Miyeon felt like the whole world collided around her. Her mouth became dry as her mind tried to believe what her ears just heard. She felt dizzy and nausea, it felt like a nightmare. A real one.
