A/N: I swear to God...this is the 105475th time I take too long to update, sorry guys😭 I just had a lot of studies for the last two months and it was too hard to update, but thankfully, I finished my exams and graduated from senior year, finally!! Which means I got more time now to write, I hope none of you guys forgot about this ff😭😭😭 anyways, how are you all doing?

Miyeon:"Jungkook?"

Miyeon felt her heart pounding against her chest once memories waved back into her head.

The guy she loves. Was standing not too far away from her now,...it almost felt like a dream.

And she suddenly felt like all of the struggle she went through in the Lees house was washed off after she saw his face.

Kai:"Call my parents, tell them that we're coming back soon, I just need to stop by a friend's house, okay?"

Shin:"Okay,"

Shin replied back, before turning on his phone.

The bodyguard suddenly held Miyeon's wrist.

Bodyguard1:"Miss, you need to enter the car,"

Miyeon harshly pulled her wrist out of the bodyguard's grip.

Bodyguard1:"Miss!"

The bodyguard yelled once Miyeon ran towards Jungkook, without any hesitation.

Kai:"What's going on? Where is Miyeon—"

Bodyguard1:"J-Jungkook..."

The bodyguard looked down, not ready to see his boss bursting out in anger.

Kai's eyebrows twitched.

Kai:"What?"

Kai's eyes traveled towards Jungkook, his hands making a fist.

Once Miyeon reached Jungkook, she hugged him without any warning. Everyone around them stared at them as they passed by.

Jungkook, on the other hand, felt his heart skipping a beat the moment she hugged him. As much as she missed him...he missed her.

Warm tears trickled down her cheeks, she finally got to feel his warmth again. She finally got to feel safe with him again.

Jungkook wanted to hug her back so badly...but he clearly knew he can't.

And it broke his heart. His sad expression showed it all.

Miyeon pulled away from the hug, causing Jungkook to feel disappointed for some reasons. He didn't want her to pull away this immediately, he wanted to stop the time for some reasons and stay in this position.

She cupped his cheeks, looking directly into his dark eyes.

Miyeon:"I-I'm sorry for w-what happened at the court...I-I swear I was forced...I-I would never, ever, intend to accuse you of such a thing or harm you in any way"

Jungkook swallowed hard before he placed his hand on Miyeon's hand that was on his cheek, slowly removing it away from him.

Miyeon blinked in confusion. What's wrong with him? He never stopped her from being this close to him, what was the matter with him now?

Miyeon:"W-What's wrong..."

Jungkook's heart ached in pain, seeing Miyeon looking confused and hurt like that.

Kai:"Let's go"

Kai grabbed Miyeon's arm, not wanting to watch them together anymore.

Miyeon:"Leave my arm!"
