I walked into the kitchen to drink some water.

Daeun was preparing a tea for her grandma, I guess.

Daeun:" Is Jungkook having a rest right now?"

Miyeon:"Yeah...I guess"

I said before drinking the water.

Daeun:"That's good then"

There was an awkward long silence before Daeun decided to break it.

Daeun:"Um...Miyeon?"

Miyeon:"Yes?"

Daeun:"Do you..."

Daeun stopped whatever she was doing and turned around to look at me.

Daeun:"Do you like Jungkook?"

I scoffed.

Miyeon:"Pfffft, What?Me?Like Jungkook?Honey we're just friends, what made you think like that?Oh God"

Daeun raised an eyebrow.

Daeun:"Just friends?You literally seemed annoyed every time we flirted with each other"

Why...did I...make it....so obvious....

I nervously chuckled.

Miyeon:"Ahh...w-well, you see, Jungkook is my close friend and he really means a lot to me, so I was just worried about him from liking you then getting his heart broken.That's it"

How many times have I lied today?

Daeun stared blankly at me for a couple of seconds before replying coldly.

Daeun:"You don't have to worry about his love life.You're not even his girlfriend"

My smile faded away before Daeun turned around.

What did she just say?

Do I have to be his girlfriend to be worried about him?!Is she serious?!

Daeun:" I actually feel like I'm starting to like him.He is cute and funny, and on top of all, he is respectful"

Daeun suddenly said.

Miyeon:"Y-You do?"

I asked.

Daeun:"Yes."

Daeun turned to look at me again.Her expression seemed somehow....too cold.

Daeun:"Am I not allowed to?I mean...he is single after all"

Miyeon:"N-No, that's okay, who said that you're not allowed to?"

Man...she is weird.

Daeun:"That's what I thought..."

And she turned around again.

Daeun:"Will you give me his number?I somehow feel a little bit shy to go and ask him for his number"

His number?

Miyeon:"Um...I don't know if he would be okay with me giving his number without his permission, I think you should go and ask him, I'm sure that he won't refuse to—"

Daeun suddenly laughed.What's wrong with this girl?Is she on drugs?

She turned around while still laughing.

Miyeon:"W-What?"
