"I was here first!"

"No you weren't! Besides, I'm older than you, Aviana!"

A loud crash and angry yell could be heard from down the hall that Greyson, Eddie, and Richie showed up in. With an annoyed sigh, Greyson started down the hall with Richie and Eddie on his heels.

They ended up in the kitchen with Avi standing on a counter, holding something high above Kali's head. They made eye contact with the three who had just entered the room, and in the time Avi was distracted, Kali grabbed her leg and pulled her toward the ground.

Avi was barely able to break her fall with her powers and dropped the object she had been holding above Kali's head.

Greyson lifted it up, a bored expression on his face. "You two were fighting over the remote? How old are you?" he asked, tossing it on the couch in the living room.

"Hey, I haven't had TV in nearly four months!" Avi snapped, the room rumbling slightly with her rage, as she wasn't trying to control her powers.

"Wait, is that Richie?!" Kali asked, grabbing Avi's attention.

"Uh, hi?" Richie said in a questioning tone, holding out his hand. "I'm Richie, who are you?"

"I'm Avi, that's Kali, and you obviously know our lovely Eddie," Avi said with a wink, walking over to Eddie and wrapping an arm around his shoulders.

Eddie glared at the pair of girls who walked into the living room after that, seemingly in agreement with what they wanted to watch. Greyson chuckled at the interaction, rolling his eyes, and walked off to his room to rest.

"They do realize I've known you for your whole life, right?" Richie asked, watching as Kali and Avi sat down on the couch, whispering to each other as they picked a show.

Eddie shrugged, his face so red he was sure the heat was radiating off of him. "I'm not sure, Rich. They're weird."

"We can hear you!" Avi called, looking back at the pair from just over the back of the couch.

Kali was staring at them too and shot Eddie a playful wink when they made eye contact. Eddie glared at the pair of them and grabbed Richie's hand, pulling him to his room, ignoring the whooping and whistling from the two girls on the couch.

When they got to Eddie's room, Richie sat down on the bed hesitantly. It'd been over two months since he'd seen the real Eddie. The one he knew like the back of his hand, that laughed at his tasteless dirty jokes.

The one he loved more than anything in the world.

Eddie seemed to be in a similar mindset. He was standing awkwardly in the room, not really sure what to say. He was thankful Avi and Kali weren't in the room to embarrass him, but he almost wished someone was there to relieve the unwanted tension.

They both had so many unanswered questions that they wanted to ask, yet they hadn't been alone together for over two months.

It was like meeting again for the first time.

"I missed you, Eds," Richie said, sounding timid. He had no clue what to say.

"I missed you, too. Well, I think I did. It's a little hard to tell when your memories are taken away, so I definitely missed you for the time I remembered you which was actually only a few days when I was in the lab, but I kind of remembered you before that I guess so I'm not really a hundred percent sure how long I missed you but I definitely did and..."

Richie was content to sit and listen to Eddie's rambles. He had missed the sound of Eddie's voice. Even though he talked so quick it was hard to understand, Richie had missed it.
