A/N: Whew, I'm letting y'all know now—those who are so triggered and misunderstanding of open relationships or marriages—y'all need to leave if you can't respectfully dislike/disagree with them but understand it does work for people, they do happen and are valid, and that it doesn't mean both parties love each other any less or it's wrong. Please educate yourself on what they are/mean by people who are actually in them. Love is different for everybody. Your definition of love and ideal relationship is not the same as everyone else's and that's okay, and if people exploring that is so offensive to you then please work on your personal issues and ask yourself why.

Keep an open mind. I'm not trying to control anyone's preferences or persuade them into liking it. That is all.

"You know what's so funny to me, doc? Is how quickly people switch up when you no longer act the way they want you to act or feel the way they want you to feel. And God forbid I feel my own emotions. That's strange, isn't it? All my life, left and right, I've been told how to feel and what to wear, how to speak, how I should act, what I should think, what I am doing wrong, why what I'm doing right isn't enough, why what I'm doing that works for me is wrong, and so on. And I am just so tired of being desired only when I am behaving my best, showing off my sexuality, and only displaying problems that are acceptable for other people. I feel so trapped. I don't feel good. I feel sick. I feel sick of being judged by my friends and everyone around them that barely know me."

Dr. McAvoy narrowed his eyes as he listened to Camila rant and go on, sitting cross legged across him with a whirlwind of emotions pouring out of her. He analysed her and noted the fact that she often experienced many different emotions in such a short time span, it all seemed very shallow and superficial but they were very much real. Camila just went through rapid mood swings. He hummed and mimicked her seating position on his chair across from her in the small office he's had for many years now. Camila had stopped talking and was now visibly upset again. The clock ticked away on the wall behind him and her sighing out prolonged frustrations in front of him was all that filled the silence in the room.
