I decided to take long and deep breaths in order to forget about the thing that happened between me and Kai during lessons. Now we all had history, just... without him. I sat next to Cole and after twenty minutes of staring at the professor talking, i felt something hitting my back. It was a paper slit, folded into a tiny one. I looked around and guessed that Jay addressed it to me because of the stares he gave me. I unfolded the note to see a message written neatly using small letters:
,,Lloyd, what happened? Why did you run away from us during lunch? Did any of us say something wrong?''
I wrote a quick reply, lying of course. I couldn't tell them about my sudden meeting with the fire ninja... and about his hands on fire.
,,No, you didn't! It's totally fine. I mean, i am. I just needed to buy a bottle of water in the school tuck shop.'' - I said in the note.
I threw the paper slit towards Jay. He caught it and in that way we exchanged a few more messages:
,,If you say so, but if you need anything, we are here.''
,,Thank you! I appreciate it so much!''
,,No worries! We got your back. Would you like to grab some food in a Mexican bar nearby after school?''
,,Yeah!''
In fact, i was also somehow surprised that the teacher didn't pay attention to our note conversation during his lesson.

(time skip) - 4:47 PM - Lloyd on his way home after hanging out with Nya, Jay, Zane and Cole.
- Bye guys! - I said after we stuffed our mouths with burritos.
- Bye, Lloyd! See you tomorrow! - Nya replied happily.
- Bye! - Everyone else added.

I was on my way home. Hanging out with them was one of the best times in my entire life and i think these guys are really good friend materials! Every one of them is kind, carrying, hilarious and special on his/her own way. I'm really glad i met them. We all exchanged numbers and created a chat so everyone can now communicate directly.

I walked home slowly, but suddenly felt someone grabbing my back. I turned around to see... Kai.
- We need to talk. - He said calmly.
- What? How did you find me?
- We need to talk, green ninja. - Kai replied and took me to a place with practically nobody near.
- Um... w-what is this about? - I asked. - I thought i was going to leave you alone.
- Lloyd, yeah?
- Lloyd Garmadon. Mhm.
- I'm Kai Smith. I saw you already meeting my sister- Nya and her friends.. um. Listen up, kid. I know you've seen my hands on fire. And you seem loyal, so shut up and pay attention. Sometimes I lose control over my powers, that is it. If you tell anyone, i'll let your ass on fire, understood?
I looked at him with a pale face and nodded. I tried avoiding eye contact with Kai, but as soon as it happened again... i felt it. We did! Again!
- Kai, i know you're stressed out, but i-
Unexpectedly at that moment i felt my cheek getting all red. I received a punch. A punch straight into the face, from him... He looked at me, but i didn't look back. I had tears in my eyes, so i turned around and left, holding my feelings down. It looked like Kai wanted to avoid EVERY type of feelings...
I looked in the brunettes direction one last time to see him standing there... I couldn't take this... i just...
- Lloyd! I- i am... just.. come back! - He shouted.
I didn't listen and left, just as he did for the first time.
