The day before was tough. I entered the school building totally worn out. I immediately saw Jay, Nya, Cole, Zane and forced myself to come up with the aim to ask what exactly happened that day at school when Lloyd came back to my house, all in tears.
- Kai?! - They said loudly.
Everyone else in the corridor instantly turned around.
- Yeah, yeah. Keep it down, won't ya? - I replied.
- What was going on with you?! - Nya bashed me. - I had to sleep at Jay's, plus i was worried...
- We were. - Zane added.
- You guys were worried about me? How am I supposed to believe that?
- Because, dumb ass i'm your sister and those are your friends. Kai, you can still change and come back to us. Just so you know... - Nya mumbled.
- I don't know... Do you possibly know where's Lloyd? Uh... no big deal just someone... asked me to ask you.. um...
- Oh my god, are you blushing? - Jay yelled.
- Shut up- - I wanted to say something more but suddenly felt a cold, strong hand grabbing my shoulder from the back.
- No, Jay. Actually.. don't shut up. - It was Court. One of the guys i met at a party a few months ago and now he'd hang out with me, Ryder, Jack and Dennis, as a whole group. The one signature thing about these guys was a black, leather jacket. All of them now stood right behind Court. Everyone saw us as best friends, since I left Jay, Nya, Cole and Zane. - We're actually sorta into hearing what EXACTLY is the reason for YOU being interested in that blonde loser, Kai. So tell us, have you two been... i don't know. Doing something?
- It's NOT what you think. - I blushed even more, when reminding myself of Lloyd's green, emerald eyes looking straight forward at me...
- So what is it, Kai? Are you maybe afraid to tell us? Because we got that reaaally interesting news from your blonde hair boy that you two had a fling. - Ryder claimed.
- I don't know what you're talking about. - I lied in the pressure of answering his question.
- You know what might help your memory? - Asked Dennis. - We could've had a little chat with Lloyd. A day ago. Oh what was it about... Of course! We just told him how much of a killer he is and that he'll die just like his father. Suicide. But no big deal, isn't it though?
My voice tone instantly went down. I said, as coldly as possible...
- Where is Lloyd?
I knew everyone looked at me. The whole school, standing in the hallway, Ryder, Dennis, Court and Jack. Especially Jay, Nya, Cole and Zane.
- Now you care? - Asked Ryder, with laughter.
- Tell me, where the HELL is Lloyd. - I repeated myself and felt my hands getting warmer... This couldn't be any good.
- I wish i could tell you..
I couldn't take it any longer. My hands went on fire and i pressed Ryder to the locker in behind.
- TELL ME. WHERE IS LLOYD AND IS HE OKAY OR I'LL FUCKING BURN YOUR GODDAMN FACE!
He looked at me as if i was something terrifying and answered:
- At home, probably crying over his miserable life i guess.
I let go of Ryder and saw how the rest of the ninja looked at me... Now everyone at school knew... I have elemental powers.
But that didn't matter anymore because what happened next almost got me crying...
A platinum blonde boy has entered the school, slowly, without any rush and looked at me...
