The very first lesson of physics has begun. I tried noting everything what the professor said except my mind was all about the brunette boy i saw in the corridor. I didn't pay attention to him at first but now that i think about it, he caught my attention and as we looked each other in the eyes, it seemed as if he wanted to tell me something. Now he sat in the back of the classroom constantly checking on his phone. I wonder what happened between him and Nya, Cole, Zane and Jay though. They told me to stay away from it but I couldn't fight my curiosity so at lunch time i decided to ask them.

We all sat outside, together at lunch after everyone took a dish.
- So Lloyd, how did you enjoy your first few lessons at Ridgeway High? - Asked Cole.
- It was okay. Never expected that a school would look like this.
- What do you mean? - Said Nya.
- Oh... um. I was homeschooled. For my whole life. - I replied shyly.
- What?
- Are you kidding? - Inquired Zane and Jay.
- No, for real. - I smiled and took a bite of my salad. The food here was really tasty.
- Wow, so that is a huge change for you.
- Yeah, it truly is. Uh... guys can you tell me what happened between you and Kai?
- SHHH! Okay, okay. Just keep it down if you talk about him. - Said Jay.
- This happened a few months ago... Kai was always our best friend as we are now just without him. - Nya said. - One day he started coming home very late at night, not knowing what happened before and without explanation. I kept calling Jay who took proper care of me and one other night Kai came home with his eyes all red. He became very aggressive and... and...
- He tried to hit Nya but instead. He burnt her hand. With fire. - Jay closed up.
- JAY!!! Why did you..- They all started yelling at him.
- What do you mean he BURNT Nya? - I asked.
- Okay, Lloyd. You need to know we aren't completely normal teenagers. We are ninjas who protect Ninjago. Nya is the master of water,Jay, lightning, Zane, ice and i'm the master of Earth. Everyone knows the ninja's but no one knows it's us. We have elemental powers and so does Kai, the master of fire. - Cole explained.
Master of fire... it really seems to fit Kai but... elemental powers?! What the hell?
I looked at them confused.
- You're the first one to know. Just don't tell anyone else. - Said Zane.
- I won't.
Suddenly the principal approached us.
- Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon?
- Yes. - i answered and saw the guys looking at me.
- Good to see you in our new school, young boy. Hope your first remains successful. - He told me and left with a smile.
- Thank you.

- Garmadon? - I heard Nya ask.
- YOUR NAME IS LLOYD GARMADON? GARMADON? - Said Cole.
- Y-yeah. Why ask?
- You're Lord Garmadon's son?!
- Um... i ... - I tried to answer... very smoothly, huh. - My dad committed suicide and left a note for me and mom saying we need to move to Ninjago.
- What? Are you serious? - Asked Zane.
- Yeah, i told Jay about it on the way to school, what's the big deal?
Suddenly Nya looked at everyone else and said:
- Jay! Why didn't you say anything?! Guys... the son of Lord Garmadon who terrorized this town must be the green ninja. It's what the legends says! Lloyd MUST be the green ninja!
- What? - I asked confused.
- You're the green ninja? - They asked.
- That's also what my father wrote in the letter to me and mom... but i thought it was a lie or something. I'm not even a warrior.
- Lloyd, your father must've known that we are the elemental masters and that's why maybe he wanted you to be a good protector at last. That's why he sent you here! - Explained Zane.

I looked at Zane and everybody else. I began to breathe heavily and stress about the whole thing. What if really i am that green ninja? What does THAT mean? So my father knew and wanted me to learn spinjitzu with Nya, Zane, Cole, Jay and... Kai?... What if i'm not good enough?! I... i can't take this pressure.
I stood up from the table, excused my friends and ran to the nearest bathroom. I opened the door and locked myself in one of the cabin's. I couldn't believe i just got an anxiety attack in front of them all! I grabbed my head to soon start crying. Suddenly i heard the school bell which meant the lesson was about to begin. I didn't want to go. I sat there, in the closed cabin, waiting for my mentality to calm down.
It's been a few minutes already and that's when i heard someone walk in. Hope it's not a teacher! I tried not to let a single breath out of my lungs to remain quiet.
- Fuck it! - I heard someone say. I took a peek and it occurred to be Kai. He stood there, looking at the mirror and his hands that were... in flames.
I saw him panicking and decided to go out and talk to him.
- Kai? - I asked quietly.
- Who the hell are you?! Why do you know my name?- He said, immediately hiding his hands, so that I couldn't see the powers.
- Don't worry. I'm... new here, i'm Lloyd Garmadon. The...
- Garmadon?! The potential green ninja? - He asked.
- Yeah. - I smiled. - You can show me your hands. It's not that big of a deal, i know you have elemental powers. I know Nya, Cole, Zane and Jay have them too. They told me.
- Fuck off.
- I- i'm sorry. I just wanted to-
- Then you were wrong! Just fuck off and leave me alone! - He said aggressively.
- I can really help. Look if you're worried i can-

Suddenly Kai's eyes got red as he released the hands from behind of his back to push me against the bathroom wall.
- Listen to me, Lloyd. Stay away from me and j-
He stopped.
What we both saw at that moment was weird and magical at the very same time... When Kai looked me into the eyes, we sort of saw each other's pain and felt weirdly carrying about one another. It was something such as... love?
