,,I love you''. Since a very long time i thought these words are meaningless. My father used to tell me he loves me every day, but it turned out that he lied to me and mum, and killing himself was a clear statement that he didn't love or care for me. But hearing them from Kai seemed like a whole other story, like i could still believe in love. Sure, it was quite a short amount of time of knowing each other but the connection between us surpassed the power of time. When i looked him in the eyes, i felt as if my heart would explode. His look made me feel like he could see through my pain and reach right underneath it to see the human i truly am. I desired to look at him for the rest of my life and delight in the way he made me feel forever.

The moment of Kai saying it was spontaneous but unforgettable as well. However i'd never guess that he could say that, not necessarily first. We were now standing in front of each other, not knowing how to act or what to do. The lessons were about to end in five minutes. I gave Kai a questioning look. 

Suddenly we heard someone walking through the school hall. ,,Who's this?'' I asked him in a whisper tone. ,,Probably the principal. He tends to check if someone's dropping out of classes. We should go, come on.'' He replied, grabbed my wrist and pulled me towards the exit. We heard the principal yell: ,,Hey, come back! A week of detention for both!''. 

We finally stopped in the middle of a park, way behind the school yard, to take breath from running so fast.

- Kai? - I asked. 

- Yes? 

- Did you mean what you said before? the ,,I love you'' thing...

The brunette glared at me for a second and slowly came closer towards me. Because of how short i was, i had to look up to see his stunning eyes. He looked around if there was someone near us. We were out during the standard working hours so luckily there was nobody. After making sure we had a safe spot, Kai gave me a short but passionate kiss. His lips felt warm and so soft. It was really heavenly, like dozens of fire waves have just went through my entire body. I looked at him after we pulled away from each other and smiled.  Unfortunately all this would have to be kept in a secret. Especially from Nya, Zane, Cole and Jay. And of course those thugs who supposedly have a drug deal with Kai.

- I'm supposing that this was a ,,yes''? - I questioned him.

- It is. - He said and rubbed my hair. 

- Hey! - I yelled as he chuckled. - Not funny!

- For you. - Kai laughed.

Then, all of a sudden, i heard a notification buzzing from my phone. I took it out of my pocket to see two text messages from Nya. 

- Who is it? - The brunette asked.

,,I hope you're safe! The principal asked me to call my brother to tell him about an additional detention time but he blocked me a while ago. The principal also said that he's gone with you.'', ,,Lloyd, i need you to tell me why the hell are you out with Kai and are you safe! Text back asap!''

- It's Nya...
