"Nick, she seems nice," Judy said to the fox who was looking at the messages on his phone where Skye had been trying to get him to go on a date with her.

"Carrots, she is continuously asking me to go out with her. That's just too creepy."

Judy scoffed a little," Oh, so when a male is constantly asking a female to go out with him, it's normal, but when a female does the same thing, its creepy?"

Nicl sighed," Carrots...truth be told I would like to give her a chance..but....I dont think I can do that."

"Why not?"

'Because I think I'm still in love with you.'

Those were the words Nick wanted to say. He had tried to move on from his feelings toward Judy after Jack came into the picture, but it wasn't working. So, instead of the truth, Nick said," Because I dont have the proper attire or any idea of where to take her."

Judy seemed to buy the worst lie Nick ever told, which Nick was thankful for," Nick, it doesnt have to be fancy. She just wants to know YOU."

"Carrots.."

"Please, Nick," Judy said with a small pout," Do it for me?"

Nick looked at Judy who did him dirty by adding the begging eyes that Nick always fell for," Fine," the fox said," I'll do it."

"YES!" Judy cheered, jumping off her chair and punching the fox on the arm playfully," You're finally agreeing to get back into the dating game. Didnt think you ever would."

"Well, I didnt plan on it," Nick replied," But some crazy bunny used the begging eyes on me."

Judy smiled," Its called a hustle, sweetheart."

It was then that Jack finally returned to the cubicle with three coffees," I heard the cheering. What happened?"

"Nick has a date," Judy said with a proud smile.

"Only because she hustled me," Nick replied.

Jack rolled his eyes with a chuckle," What am I going to do with you crazy mammals."

"Well," Nick said with his signature sly grin," You could start by giving us our coffee."

"HE SAID YES!!!!" Skye screamed joyfully, causing Finnick to jump ten feel in the air.

"Skye, you about gave me a fucking heart attack!"

"Sorry, cuz," the vixen smiled," But your friend, Nick, finally agreed to go on a date with me!"

Finnick shook his head," Oh, Nicky boy, what have you gotten yourself in to. Well, at least I know you wont be living HERE long."

"Shut up, shorty," Skye laughed," I need to plan out this date."

Finnick raised a brow," Its in three days. What the hell needs planned THAT urgently?"

"You males will NEVER understand," Skye chuckled," A lady's beauty takes DAYS of preperation."

The small fox stood from the couch and said," Well, it isnt my problem, anyway. Just keep in mind, Nick doesnt like females being too forward. He likes to take things slow, so dont try to force yourself onto him."

"Noted," Skye with with a smile of excitement.

Nick gave a short sigh as he stood at the doorstep of Finnicks house that Friday night.

"You can do this, Wilde," the fox said to himself," Its your last attempt to get over Judy."

Finally, the fox knocked on the door and Finnick opened it with a suspicious look," Alright, Nick. Seeing as how I know how you felt about Officer Fluff, are you sure you want to do this?"

Nick nodded his head with a small smile," Finnick, something tells me I need this."

"Then come on in," the small fox said with a smile," Skye is still getting ready. Females, am I right?"

Nick chuckled before sitting down on the couch," Well, I guess we really are gonna be family now."

"Make a comment like that again and I break your jaw. It does not take blood to make us family, we are already family. We couldn't be more like family than we are now."

Nick lowered his ears a little," Dang, buddy. It was a joke."

"I know," Finnick laughed, causing Nick to lose his uneasiness.

"I'm ready," Skye said with a smile, coming out of the hallway.

Nick smiled to her. True, as a mammal, she wasn't as beautiful as Judy, but as a vixen, she was drop dead gorgeous. Nick took her paw and said," Shall we?"

"Of course," Skye said with a sweet smile that Nick was starting to like.

"You two have fun," Finnick said as the couple walked to the door.

The two foxes had made it to Nick's car and Nick started the engine," So, I wasn't too sure what to plan for a first date, so I basically made a list of things for tonight."

"That sound good to me," Skye said," As long as I am on a date with this foxy mammal, I dont care what we do."

Nick gave a little chuckle before saying," In that case, first stop is Pizza Mutt. I'm starving."

"You and me both," Skye laughed," Only thing Finnick has is microvables."

The two had a pretty good night, that ended with a goodnight kiss. Nick knew it would take time, but as long as he could try to love her the same way he loved Judy, this would work out wonderfully.

AN- Hope you guys liked it. I know it took me a while to write such a short chapter, but I've been trying to deal with a few things in my personal life. I'll try to get back to longer chapters cause I prefer to write those. Anyway, till next time.....
