Halloween Special

This is not a continuation of the story, it's like a whole flashback from the first halloween Mia and Luke shared.

~Mia's POV~

My mummy is helping me to put on my custom for Halloween. I'm wearing a dress and a tiara. I am supposed to be Belle, but mummy keeps telling me that I'm prettier than her.

I was finally done with my hair. I made a ponytail by myself, but my mum redid it, since I can't comb my hair nice, but don't blame me! I'm just 4!

Mummy was taking me to My best friend Luke's house. Luke and I did a promise the other day that we will be bestfriends forever. We pinky promised, nobody can break the pinky promise.

When I grow up, I wish to have a pink car, like my doll's car. My mummy began to drive to Luke's house. Luke and I always play together. We have to make puzzles or play hide and seek or yag, because Luke doesn't like me dolls, and I don't like his power rangers either!

Mum and I made our way to the car. A few minutes later, My mum and I arrived to Luke's house. We knocked his door and he opened it. His custom was of Frankenstein. His skin was green and he had nails coming out of his head. He had blood coming out of his head, right where the nails were placed.

"Hi Mia! Hi Anne!" Luke said as his mum was coming from behind.

"Hello Mia and Anne." Said Luke's mum, Liz Hemmings. I don't know how I have to call Luke's mum. Sometimes I call her Liz and sometimes I call her Mrs. Hemmings. Mrs. Hemmings and my mum are really good friends. Most of the times, mummy and I go to have breakfast with Mrs. Hemmings and Luke.

"Thank you for taking Mia trick or treating." My mum kindly said. I like hanging out with Luke and Liz. They are really cool and Liz always gives me candies whenever I come around.

"It's nothing. Luke really appreciates when Mia is around, he would beg me if Mia could come over. What can I say?" said Liz.

"Thank you again, Liz." said mum as she left. I entered Luke's house and went to his room with Luke behind.

We say in his couch and I grabbed the teddy bear he had. It is my favorite toy of him.

We played with his toys for twenty minutes. Liz called us from downstairs. We made our way to his mum.

"Ready to go trick or treating?" asked Luke's mum.

"Yeah mum." said Luke. He gave me a pumpkin basket to place these candies I get.

We went throughout his neighborhood asking for candies with his mum. We rang on a very grumpy old woman. When she opened the door, She gave us dirty looks. She tried to make a effort of hiding her witch face, but she failed.

"Hello. Is your costume a witch?" Asked Luke. The grumpy old lady didn't have any costumes on, so I poked look with my elbow.

"Luke!" I whispered so the old lady wouldn't hear me.

"Sorry ma'm, we better get going." Said Mrs. Hemmings, giving the old lady a warm smile. I smiled at the old lady too, but she kept looking at us dirty.

We began to walk a few houses away from the old lady's house.

"Luke, why were you rude to the old woman?" I asked Luke.

His mum was also walking, looking at some other way. Luke didn't answer. I just kept my sight on my feet. I asked Luke again, not getting a response either.

I looked to my side to see that there wasn't Luke. His mother also looked to the same way I was looking. We both widened our eyes as we noticed Luke wasn't with us.

Did the old lady take Luke away?

"Booo!" Said Luke, getting out from some bushes that were on the side of the path. I was happy that the old woman didn't eat Luke.

"Lucas Hemmings! You scared me!" His mum said. He scared me too, but nothing wrong happened to him, so i was fine.

We did more trick or treating. I had my whole pumpkin bag candy-full! It was really heavy, no kidding!

We went back to Luke's house with his mum. My hairstyle was a little bit messier and my dress was dirty. It didn't matter because Luke is my friend, so he doesn't care if I look ugly, like the old lady from before, or if I look pretty, like I normally do.

We ate a lot of candies, I had lots! The list went from candy corn to all the way to wonka candies! I love candies, I could eat them all if I wanted to. I would be happy if I lived in a house made of candy, or at least in Charlie's factory. Maybe I can found a gold ticket in one of the chocolates the generous people gave me for Halloween.

"Are you going to eat that?" Luke asked me, pointing to some candy. It didn't matter to me, because I have lots and lots of candies, so if he takes one, I wouldn't mind.

"Sure." I happily said. It was really late, so my mummy called and asked if I could stay the night with Luke.

I was happy to get to spend time with Luke, but he is sleeping in the floor! I'm not sharing bed with him! How disgusting!

"Luke, I'll place some blankets on the floor so you can sleep there. Mia, you can sleep in Luke's bed, he doesn't mind." Said Mrs. Hemmings. I was sleepy, so I nodded and went straight to Luke's bed. I didn't even take off my costume.

Next morning I woke up and my mum was waiting for me already. I got out of Luke's bed and went to my house.
