Chapter 27

~Luke's POV~

{A/N: Luke is still in the jewelry store, don't get confused}

I've been waiting here for like 15 minutes, the old man hasn't come yet with the necklace. I want to get out of here so bad... Why is it even taking him long anyway?

As I was standing there, Ashton walked towards me.

"When are we leaving? I'm tired of waiting!" He annoyingly said. I agree with Ashton's annoyance of waiting, I'm sick of waiting too. But I guess the wait is worth it, it's for Mia's necklace.

"I know man. The man is inside that room, I don't know when he is actually getting out." I said, pointing to the room the old man was in. Just like magic, the old man got out, with a shiny necklace. I might have to admit that as far as I see, he did a good gob.

"Misters, here is the necklace." The old man said. I'm tired of saying old man, so I'm calling him Oldie now alright?

"Thank you sir." I said as Oldie gave me a little box with the necklace on it. I opened the box to see the necklace, just like new.

"No problem kids." Oldie replied.

"See you!" Ashton waved at Oldie, who just waved back with a fake smile and then turned around, leaving us and going back to the room he was in.

"Let's go now, Ash." I said as I walked towards the entrance. He slightly nodded and started to walk to the same direction as me. We got out of the shop and then we walked to the parking lot. Ashton forgot where the car was, so he pressed the 'open' and 'close' buttons of the car keys. The sound of the van could be heard, but I saw nothing.

Basically, there we were, looking for our van like psychos. I don't know why, but when we arrived here the parking lot was empty, all the stores were empty with no clients. Maybe it was the hour that we arrived, it was kinda early. People might have come here when we were waiting. That has to be the answer, because the parking lot is God damn full. I mean, it would be easy to see a really big van on a parking lot, but there were vans like ours, so we hardly found it.

After searching in all the place, we finally found the van. We got in and Ashton quickly pulled up back to the house.

"I never thought that looking for a van would be that hard mate." Ashton said.

"Yeah I know. I just wanna go to sleep right now." I replied, leaning to my side slightly.

"We're arriving soon, don't worry, you can sleep as much as you desire, king." Ashton joked.

"Thanks peasant. Now drive." I jokingly ordered. He laughed at what I said, it was quite dumb though.

The car ride went silent for a couple of seconds, but then Ashton spoke.

"I ship Lia too, you know." Ashton said.

I couldn't help but remember of the daydream I had. It was a nightmare, I couldn't stand seeing Mia and Ashton as a couple...I wouldn't be able to resist the feeling.

"Well that's a good thing." I said, looking out the window.

"You look cute together" Ashton giggled "when are you planning to ask her out?"

"I dunno, I'm still planing it?" I hesitantly said. I haven't even thought of how I'll ask her, I'm not even sure if I can do it, I'm afraid of ruining things.

"So do I take for granted that you two will end up together?" He asked.

"I guess."

After that, everything went silent. I got bored and started to watch the cars that were driving past the van. There was this huge van that caught my eye, its windows were so dark that you couldn't see through it. I kept my gaze on the van, wondering if there was someone important inside it or something.
