CHAPTER TEN.

TYLER P.O.V:

The view was of a confident woman sitting on a chair with her back straight. I could sense she was waiting for me to start with the Interview. I shouldn't be staring yet I'm. I'm trying to read her body language; I'm not sure whether she is confident or nervous.

I'm failing in reading her body language; I shall start with the Interview. I begin the Interview with basic questions.
'Ms.Adora, I hope you are aware about the work a secretary has to do?,
'Yes, I'm aware'
'It's good you acknowledge the responsibility a secretary has. What is your reason to apply for this Job?
I was astonished with her honest answer;
'Mrs.Rose offer made me appear for the Interview, I didn't precisely apply for the Job',
Her statement made me inquire again ', 'Ms.Adora, Mrs.Rose narrated me the event; Mrs.Rose is a self-aggrandisement and compassionate woman. Hence, the reason she offered you this job as a thank-you, not because she found your profile as the right candidate for this position'. I'm quite out-spoken in my professional life, being out-spoken is one of the right traits to possess. It was unexpected for her to be out-spoken as well.
'Mr.wilson, you are informed about the event and Mrs.Rose's personality. Unfortunately, I'm jobless. I need a job since I don't desire to be homeless as well. I thought of turning this offer down because I'm mostly not gonna land any position in this company yet I thought of giving it a try rather than sitting ideally at home',
'Your out-spoken attitude might not really help you with your professional life',
'Yes, but I don't know what else to say',
'You could have said something smarter to make you look fit for this job?',
'But then that would be a lie, and you want someone who possesses honesty?',
'Right!'. I answered confusingly, I don't know at the moment who is taking whose interview, I like her attitude.

This woman answered my question with a straight face. She has an unique personality.
'Ms.Adora, please tell me more about your personality traits?',
'As you can see, I don't exactly qualify for this job. I still have something to offer to your company. I'm honest and loyal when it comes to my work. I have done Internships as a content writer regarding political and economical topics and marketing. I'm doing majors in economy and political science. Apart from academies, I have done well in extracurricular activities and sports. I'm consistent and hard-working; I also am a quick-learner. These traits can help me with being a better secretary as one you desire'.
She is confident about her personality, she does make a valid point, she is an economics major, she must have knowledge regarding finance. This can help her with being a better-learner.
'Our company is not stable enough to give a responsible position to an amateur, a learner. We need experienced people',
'I'm aware Mr.Wilson; as I already said, I'm a quick learner. I'm not experienced into that field and all I can do is learn and progress as someone who is a student and gaining experience by doing Internships',
'Why did you leave your previous job?, the previous job would be more convenient for you as a student. You could have continued doing Internships along with your job',
She responded politely, she hesitated for a few minutes. 'Sir, due to personal reasons I decided to leave my previous job. I don't exactly wish to share the reason, I hope you don't mind?'.
'Not an issue' I answered, I wonder what happened?.

'Ms.Adora, this was your second Interview' I asked while looking at her resume.
'Yes' responded adora,
'As the second Interview, You've been quite confident and quiet professional for your age. This is an impressive characteristic trait to have. It was good to have this Interview. Mrs.Rose will send you an email or she will give you a call regarding the Interview'.
'Thank-you Mr.Wilson'. She stood up, took her file and asked for permission to leave. With my permitted response, she took steps towards the door and left. I was amazed with her personality, she was genuinely honest and was speaking truth. She was calm and alternatively nervous. I kept my focus on her appearance, reading her expression is tricky. After sometime my focus went back to work.
