TYLER P.O.V:
The interview is quite tricky for me, it will be difficult for me to choose. Each and every candidate is qualified and experienced. Sadly, some of them lack loyalty; some honesty, and truth. One candidate left one of the best companies because the company was not growing or the company was falling apart. Personally, I want my co-workers to stand by me when the company starts to fall apart, I want my co-workers to help me to keep the company standing tall. The owner and the CEO are not the only ones whose duty is to make the company extraordinary. The entire team is creditworthy for making the company an establishment, an entity. Once you decide to leave the company unless you are rational; leaving the company in their need shows your loyalty. Few were not sincere with their words, their sentences. I'm not experienced enough in practical work, I still have trained for the business since my boyhood days, it is not tough for me to read the sincere words.
Every candidate has the professional degree and experience that I desire, only they don't have what Mrs.Rose and Mr.David have. They are all giving me indirect responses; politically-correct answers. Simply, not the sincere words for being honest and loyal to my company, I can't truly rely on them.
I was reviewing the resume of the candidates when my phone rang, I addressed the call;
'Mr.Wilson, the Interview of the last candidate is still pending, ten minutes have passed since the last Interview. Should I send her in?'
'Oh, yes, sorry, Mrs.Rose, I forgot about the last candidate'
'As I anticipated, I'll send her in' said Mrs.Rose and hung up. My careless behavior can't be dogged from her.
Few minutes later, I heard a knock. Must be the last candidate. I permitted the candidate for entrance. I resumed reviewing the resumes. The approachable footsteps made me draw away from the resumes. The aspirant stood in front of my vision carrying a semi-formal expression. On the contrary, I couldn't help but stare at her. I judged her as a beautiful girl when I saw her down the building, now seeing her up so close, she appears to be alluring. She looks quite young for her age, if I wasn't aware of her age, I would have assumed her to be fifteen or sixteen. Did she look down at her attire? Her expression is of confusion and consciousness? She hasn't approached the chair, why is she not approaching the chair? I probably am making her uncomfortable with my staring; I don't Intent to, she caught my attention.I should start with the Interview. I started with basic questions.
'Are you Miss.Adora?',
'Yes, I'm',
'Miss.Adora, please have a seat',
She smiled and said, 'Thank-you for offering me the seat'; She sat with grace and her back straight. She was waiting for me to offer her the seat before she'd approach. Mannerism, I see; Impressive. Mannerism is quite appreciative by professional folks. Also why she wouldn't be conscious of me staring at her like a creep, I hope she didn't assume me as one; if she did, I don't blame her. I re-examined her resume; If a position lands up on her lap in this company, it would be her second ever work. Previously, she has worked as a waitress in a lousy cafe which is quite common for pupils. Her scores aren't impressive either and she has no practical knowledge. Unfortunately, she has not much to offer for this company. I wonder what her reason could be for agreeing with Mrs.Rose and appearing for the Interview. Is she aware about the work a secretary has to do, being a CEO's secretary is a difficult job. Even if my company is a start-up company, I still am the son of the owner of wilson.co and it is considered as one of the huge companies. She is not qualified for this job, her move is a reckless move to me.
