ADORA P.O.V:

My soul took a sign of relief once I exited the door of the office room. I was jittery the whole time. Now, I'm relaxed. I bid goodbye to Mrs.Rose to which she responded with a polite and sweet smile. My stomach grumbled, Indication of hunger. Apparently, I spent my morning and my lunch time in the company. I looked around expecting to see a cafe but my eyes couldn't find any. What your vision can't do, your mobile map can; I took out my cell-phone and searched for a cafe. The map showed me a cafe which was ten-minutes walking distance from the tall building I was standing at. The cafe was a small, homey cafe; It was cute. I with my music blasting in my ears via earphones enjoyed a simple sandwich and juice.

I was seated with my book on the most comfortable couch surrounded with the walls which don't speak or stalk, where I feel safe; the home. I was too contained with my current attire than the previous one, the one I wore in the morning. I was alone at home, I did some revision to help me be on track with good marks in the academy. The hilarious part was I kept the book back on the shelf within five minutes and cooked pop-corn to eat while watching a movie of comical-genre. My phone reminded me of dinner time. I cooked noodles, made salad and Ice-tea for dinner and waited for Alicia's arrival.

'Adora, I'm home', Alicia's voice made me snap out of my wonderland.
'Alicia, how was your day?'
'Usual, nothing new; I'm wearied. Do I smell dinner?', I responded to her question with a nod and a smile on my face. Her face was worn, she went to freshen up until then I set-up the dinnerware. Our dining table consists of a small round wooden table along with four yellow-shade chairs. It is small which is cute for our preference. She soon sat on the chair and served dinner to both of us. I expected her to be happy to see the dinner ready, she didn't have to work and it is her favorite dish.

Alicia initiated conversation
'Adora, tell me how was your Interview, did it went well?',
Truthfully speaking, I was more nervous than I anticipated, I still managed to give Interview with a confident expression. The CEO apparently is a young man, didn't match our assumption. He appreciated my out-spoken and courageous characteristic trait and my professionalism. In conclusion, I'm not landing any position on my lap',
My response made her confused and she voiced her thought
'If your Interview went so well, then why do you say you won't have any position in the company. Don't mess with words Adora, tell me the truth'.
'I'm speaking the truth. The CEO has a standard that I don't match. He has criteria for his secretary position. He needs someone who is qualified and experienced. The other candidates were confident, bold and qualified. Also, his company is a rightfully start-up company which means he can't hire an amature. He need experienced people to help him the company grow',
'That is a valid point; I was expecting this. There is a good news for you?',
'A good news? What is it?',
'While coming back home, I saw a cafe which isn't far from our home. The cafe needs a helper. Apply for that one. It is convenient and also you are experienced',
'It is convenient, I'm going tomorrow for the Interview. It is Indeed a good news. The work as a secretary would have killed my soul, the waitress job wouldn't. Thank-you Alicia',
Our conversation died and we ate in peace. She decided to do the dishes. In our small home, there is a small balcony too with the view of a suburban city. We have installed a chair, the moonlit helps me calm my nerves and the brizzy air helps me breathe well. I went there and took out a novel to read in peace. I started to feel tired, my body needs rest. I went to my bedroom bidding night to my roommate who was busy watching rom-com and applied for the job suggested by my friend. My night consists of hope of getting a call tomorrow. With that thought, my eyes started being blurred and my body dozed off.
