Now, when one reads that title, it usually goes like 'TFIOS, TFIOS, I love TFIOS!'
Only to be fair, I haven't read it, because when you have older siblings, it usually means they now rule over you. Same old, same old.
But since I have seen many edited versions of its most favorited quotes and saying and the whole 'Okay? Okay', I know a little, and to be honest, I know the story.
But here it isn't about the book or the movie, in fact it's actually about what the title says.
Pain. The bloody pain. It doesn't matter what kind of pain e.g. The pain one feels when someone breaks their heart, or breaks their trust or breaks their face. It usually involves a lot of 'breaking'. But not much 'bleeding'. Maybe if we actually bleed when we're hurt, maybe the ones who hurt us actually notice how far they've gone.
It usually involves a loved one or loved ones. And since I'm not talking about the physical pain here, it just kind of always involves someone you love.
No matter how high up your protection shield is, if it's written you have to get hurt, you will get hurt.
But have we not noticed how the pain changes those that are hurt, deeply hurt?
Not to forget the pain of losing someone... Again, losing that someone you love, forever.
So many things have brought us down and dare not someone say we haven't tried to get up, because we have. Always will. 'Always'. And have so many times succeeded.
Pain is there in the world to be felt. To learn from our mistakes, to know better. If there were no pain, just for a second have you imagined what it would be like? That one enemy, you wish gets hurt and feels pain so they could know how you feel. Pain is there to teach. To be felt so that you can realize where you stand. How deep in the water you are.
I did not understand the true meaning of 'Pain' until I pondered over the ways that I was able to feel it and the realization that caused me to end up here.
It's always for the better. When I lose control, I remind myself that.
