VANESSAS POV
"Vanessa! it's time to get ready!" Lou yells from downstairs. I leave my room and head down. I plop into her chair as she plays with my hair. "you excited?" she asks looking at me in the mirror. "y-yeah." I stutter.
honestly I'm completely nervous. every party of me is nervous, nervous, nervous.
I look at the clock to see 5:37. I have about an hour and thirty minutes.
before I knew it, Lou had curled my hair, done my makeup, and picked out a cute floral dress for me to wear. "wow Lou. you went all out on this." I say as I bounce my curls in the mirror. "well you've got to look your best don't you?" she asks from the other room. mark suddenly walks into the room. "ready to go?" he asks. "yeah- where's paul?" I ask looking around the room. "he's making sure the boys don't cause any trouble at that party." he says. "oh okay. let's go then." I say standing up out of my chair and walking out the front door and Into the suv.
I get in and buckle my seatbelt as mark starts the car. I hear some shuffling in the back seat and before my eyes, everything went black. I can't see anything. "don't take it off until I tell you." mark says. "mark are you kidnapping me?" I ask scared. "ha no honey." he chuckles. "what are you going then?" I ask. "you'll see." he says. ugh I hate waiting.
we drive for 5 more minutes until the car halts to a stop. "we're here." he says. I hear him open his door and get out of the car. I hear my door open and I feel the hot air against my legs. "hold your arm out for me." mark says. I do as he says and I feel his hand grab my arm and he directs me to wherever we are going. I feel a few cracks under my feet, I think it's branches. wait why would I be stepping on branches? are we in the woods?
I feel no more branches. "okay." mark says from behind me. I feel him untie my blindfold and take it off. the first thing I see is my beautiful blonde boy sitting down on a red blanket with food scattered on it and a guitar in his hand. I stand there with my hands covering my mouth as he walks over to me. he hugs my and I hug him back. he picks me up and I squeal from surprise. "hi my princess." he says smiling. "hi lukey. what's all this?" I say. "you'll see later." he says winking at me. "but first we should eat." he says.
once we're done eating he stands up and grabs his guitar. "let's go on a walk." he says holding his hand for me to take. I take it and we walk across the field hand in hand. he drops his hand and starts strumming his guitar.

he lays the guitar on the ground and gets down on one knee. I cover my
mouth with my hands. "Vanessa, my princess, I can't describe how truly, madly, deeply I have fallen I love with you in these past two months we've known eachother. I feel like I've known you for my whole life and that means everything to me. when I look at you I see everything I could ever want in this world. you don't know how thankful I am that you came into my life and without you I don't know where I'd be. and my god you're so beautiful. everything about you is perfect to me. your eyes are like the sea that I get lost in everytime I see you. your laugh is the cutest thing in the whole entire world. your smile can literally light up the whole universe, your personality is so cute it's crazy. and your heart is the warmest, most kindest and most loving thing about you. every time I see you, I see everything I want. you're everything that I want."
he pulls out a black box from his pocket and opens it. there's a ring in there that is so beautiful.
"so would you mind doing the honor of being my beautiful girlfriend?" he asks. I feel a tear sliding down my cheek. "of course." I say wiping it away. I press his lips to mine and I wrap my arms around his neck and his around my waist. we kiss for a few more minutes until I pull back and kiss him a few times repeatedly. " man do I love you." I say smiling through my tears that keep sliding down my cheek. he pulls the ring out of the box and slides it onto my finger. " I love you too." he says. I look at the ring on my finger. "it's beautiful." I say through the tears that were staining my cheeks. he puts both of his hands on the sides of my face and wipes my tears away. "you're beautiful." he says as he kisses me sweetly.
we walk back with our hands intertwined to tell everyone the news. "oh and by the way everyone was in on this." he says. "oh." I say. everyone?
