A Brand New Day

"XOXO, XOXO,..." (Rim's alarm tone)
"Hmmmp..." Rim stopped the alarm with eyes shut. She did not notice Baek already entered her room.
"Hey Rim-ah! It's time already! Wake up!" Baek exclaimed.
"5 mins more, Baek-hyung"
"Stand up now or we're going to be late!. Aigoo" Baek said as he pulled Rim's arm out of her bed.
"Aish! DON'T PULL MY ARM! IT'S GONNA GET RIPPED!"
"I'M NOT GONNA STOP UNLESS YOU STAND UP!!!"
"OKAY! OKAY! I'm gonna come down!"
"Hehe! That's my girl. Fix yourself now." Baek said with winning smile as he went downstairs.

Rim's POV
After the "tug of war- arm version" with my Baek-hyung, I slightly opened my eyes and started to prepare myself to come to school.
I can smell the powerful aroma of the food that was surely cooked by Soo-hyung. It got me hungry and removed all my sleepiness. I rushed downstairs and found Suho-hyung drinking coffee with a newspaper (an old man indeed), Chanyeol- hyung preparing the table and Soo-hyung cooking at the kitchen.

"Good morning Suho-hyung! Yeollie-hyung!" I greeted them and smiled.
Suho hyung also smiled and said "Oh, you are up already! Let's eat."
Yeol hyung pouted "Hyung again? I told you, you should call us "Oppa"!"
"Arggh... I don't like that one. It sounds creepy. Hehe." I replied with a disgusted face.
Yeol hyung is still pouting so I hugged him from the back and comforted him. "Don't worry hyung, if ever I will call someone like that, I'll make sure you'll be the first one. Hehe." He smiled after I said that and ruffled my hair.
"That's my baby girl."
"Ehem, ehem. I think you are forgetting about me" Soo-hyung from the kitchen interrupted.
"Tskkk."- Yeol - hyung
"Soo-hyung! Good morning! Wow! I'm sure these pancakes are the best!"
"I know. So eat until you're full."
"Ne. Kansahamnida." I hugged Soo-hyung as I thank him for the food.

We are just a simple family. Our parents died in a car accident when I was still 5 y/o, and that only me and my four brothers were left behind. Suho hyung was the one who raised us with the money left by our parents, by himself, that's why I feel a great respect towards him. Chanyeol-hyung and Soo-hyung are like Tom and Jerry, but I'm sure they also love each other very much and support each one greatly. Baek hyung is also doing his best to make the family united by cracking jokes and providing his wide sense of humor. That's why, me too, should also do my best that I can do to protect this family. I love each one of them very much that I'm willing to sacrifice myself just to make them happy.

"Rim-ah, you're spacing out. Gwenchana yo?" - Suho hyung asked me with a worried face.
"Gwenchana hyung. Don't mind me." I smiled back at him.

Kyungsoo's POV

"Rim-ah, you're spacing out. Gwenchana yo?" - Suho hyung asked Rim with a worried face.

I stared intently with my dongsaeng's face after hearing that question. I saw Yeol hyung did the same. Is she okay? Does she have a problem we did not know?

"Gwenchana hyung. Don't mind me." Rim smiled back at him.
After I heard that, I felt relieved. Rim is our only sister and our princess that I will never let anything bother her. Overprotective, but she is the only treasure this family holds. I don't want her to feel embarassed or shameful about her problems to us.

"If you have problems, just tell us." I told her.
"Ne. I won't forget, hyung. Hehe". She smiled.

That smile is my strength.

Rim's POV

Now I'm making them worry again. Aisshh.
"Baek- hyungie! You are not yet eating here! Come down!" I tried to change the topic
"Coming!" Baek hyung rushed downstairs and started eating hurriedly.

"What are you?  A pig? Slow down!" - Yeol hyung
"I'm gonna have a practish...shsksko."- Baek hyung
"Aishh! Your mouth is full! Don't talk!" - Soo hyung acting like spanking Baek hyung with big eyes
"Hahaha! Don't worry I will drive you to school since I still have a lot of time." Suho-hyung
Baek hyung's eyes widened and hugged Suho hyung "Waaahhh! Hyung! Gomawo!" And kissed Suho hyung repeatedly.
"Aigoo! Eww! You're gross! Go away!!!."
I laughed so hard at the scene and Soo-hyung and Yeol-hyung also did the same.

Suho-hyung really drove us to school and before he left, a series of reminders were given to us.
"Baekhyun-ah! Take care of our princess, okay! I will kill you if something happens to her!"
"Aish! Hyung! I can protect myself! I am a not a small kid anymore! " I can't help but pout.
"I promise Hyung! Don't worry, I will take care of her!."
"Aish! I'm going to my room now! Annyeong!" After saying that, I run towards th building where my classroom is.
"Aish! That girl. Okay, I will go now. Baek, take care of yourself, too."
"Okay hyung. Annyeong. See you later."

Baekhyun's POV

Where did that girl go? Aish! I know she's up to something again!
I shook my head with the thought and went to our field to practice. I am a soccer player but my sister is my top priority. But in school, we are partners in crime. We are mischievous in our own ways, but she is more to look after for.

"Yoboseyo? Minseok-ssi?"
"Oh! B-Baekhyun-ssi! Annyeong haseyo! Is there something wrong?"
"Minseok-ssi! Are you in school already?"
"N-Ne! W-waeyo?"
"Is Chae Rim already in your room?
"Ne!. She's sitting now in her chair. Do you like to talk to her?"
"Aniyo. Just checking her. Kansahamnida."
"Ah... okay. N-No problem."

I hung up the phone after talking to Minseok, Rim's bestfriend. Of all the boys who are always with her, he's the one we trust the most.

I felt a little relaxed and went where my teammates are waiting. I'll just pick her up later.

Minseok's POV

I hung up the phone and started looking for Chae Rim.
Aigoo, I lied again!

I quickly hurried downstairs and search for Chae Rim. I  headed directly to the room where unused boxes are hidden.

BLAG!

"Ouch! My nose!" My head was spinning and blood started flowning through my nose. Aigoo!
"Ooops! Mianhe! Minseok-ssi! I did not notice you! Gwenchana yo?" - Rim
Rim accidentally pushed the door right when I was about to open it that's why it hit directly to my face.
"Aigoo! Minseok-ssi! Let's go to the clinic!"

After we went tot he clinic, she carefully assissted me towards our classroom, with a cotton still stuck on my nose.
"Hehe... Minseok-ssi, did you already forgive me?" Rim apologetically smiled after a while.
"And you can still smile after this! You should be thankful I did not break my nose!".
"Well, it's your fault! You knew I was there but you did not knock!"
"I did not know you were there!"
"Then why did you go there?"
" Your brother called me to check if you are already inside the classroom! I even lied to him!"
Chae Rim was astounded. When I look at her, she was pouting and it made me calm down. I realized I was shouting at her. I fixed my glasses and did not know what to say.
"Minseok-sshi, mianhamnida. I did not know. I wore my jogging pants at that room and did not know you were there. I am definitely sorry. Will you please forgive me?"
Aigoo! If I am not only.... aishh never mind.
"J-Just don't do that again okay? If you have arrived at school, y-you should tell me right away so I would know what to tell your brother." I think I am blushing while I am saying but this girl is denser than the densest substance in the world.
"Am I forgiven?"- she said that with puppy eyes
"Yes, you are." - looking away from her
"Yaaay! You're the best Minseokiee!!!" She even put her arms around my neck and messed with my hair while shouting.
"AH! AH! AIGOO! Let me go! Let me go!. Aish!"

"Let's head to our classroom now."
"Aye aye Sir!"
