~At the Huang Mansion~

Kai's POV

I heard my brother Chen playing the piano. He seemed that he has not yet let go of the past.

"Hyung..."

I approached him slowly and I can see that he is so frustrated.

"Arrgggh! Why can't I play it? Wae?!?" Chen-hyung yelled and tapped the piano keys harshly.

"Hyung, no one knows the keys except Mei." I said softly.

He looked at me with sadness in his eyes.

"Arasso. But I miss Eomma and Mei so much that I want to play their song. Yet I could not."

I slowly sat beside Chen-hyung. I patted his back to comfort him. But sadness has also engulfed me.

The Huang Family. Our family is the second richest family next to the Wu's. We own several businesses and famous products in Korea, China and other parts of the world. We and the Wu's are business partners and we are like a large family in the business world.

Other people would think highly of us... they would think we are perfect, that we don't have anything to worry about. What they don't know is that, despite of all these wealth, we are broken deep down inside.

Our family is headed by our father, Huang Zi Xiu and is a pure Chinese. He is the current President of the Huang Royalty Inc., the main company and center of the Huang businesses.

He married Kim Jong Mi, a pure Korean, an expert pianist and violinist and my mother. He said he was captured by her angelic voice and the sound she makes with her instruments. But she died at an early age because of an illness due to depression.

Huang Zi Xiu and Kim Jong Mi gave life to three siblings: the eldest is Kim Jong Dae (Korean name) a.k.a Huang Zi Chen (Chinese name). He is a great singer and a violinist, but also inherited the love for piano from my mother. He is currently the CEO of one of the branches of the Huang Corp.

I am the middle child, Kim Jong In (Korean name) a.k.a Huang Zi Kai. I am a model, dancer and also a singer. I can also play the piano as taught by my mother. I am aslo managing one of the Huang businesses centered on products.

Kim Jong Min (Korean name) a.k.a Huang Zi Mei (Chinese name) is our maknae. She's the only girl in the family. But she died at an early age of 4 because of a kidnapping incident.

Among us three, Mei was the most loved one 'cause she was our princess. But we did not envy her, instead, we made the love we had for her immeasurable. She was our most treasured one.

Eomma also passed her most loved song to Mei. A song that she composed herself. She taught Mei at her age of 4 because she has shown an exceptional talent in piano. And only the two of them knew the piano keys of that song.

But the tragedy happened. One afternoon, when Mei was playing on our garden, one of our maids grabbed her and took her to a van waiting outside the gate. The maid turned out to be an associate of the kidnappers.

The bodyguards immediately chased the kidnappers to save Mei. As the chase went on, the kidnappers' vehicle fell into the woods and later on exploded. The bodies have turned to ashes that they were hard to identify. Mei was said to be included among those who died in the incident.

After my mother knew she died, she lost herself. She did not eat, sleep and just always played the piano. She could not be talked to, and always cried asking for Mei.
Later on, she also passed away. She has suffered so much.

"Kai-ssi? Gwenchana yo?" Chen hyung asked. I noticed that I have been crying quietly.

"Hyung, I also miss Mei so much." I said while sobbing.

It has been 12 years since Mei died, but the pain it caused us is still alive.

When we first saw Kim Chae Rim, we had already noticed that she resembled Mei a lot.

Her bubliness, cheerfulness and cuteness felt like Mei's presence.

And what shocked us the most, is that she resembles my mother so much.

If only we didn't know that Mei died, we might have concluded that she is Mei.

Maybe she is Mei's reincarnation. I just hope so.

I wiped my tears and looked at Chen-hyung. "Hyung, I want to see her."

He patted my back. "We shall visit Chae Rim-ssi tomorrow. I kinda miss her, too."

I smiled. "Xiexie, Chen-ge."

He also smiled.
