Sehun's POV

As we entered the wide function hall, Chen-ge and Kai-ge welcomed us. I saw how Kai-hyung's eyes were swollen.

"Brothers! It's nice to see you again." Chen-ge greeted and hugged us as welcome.

Kai-ge did not say anything but he smiled and hugged us also.

"Oh! My sons have arrived." Appa said then we approached them.

"Good evening, Uijang-nim." We greeted. He smiled then pointed to the chairs. "Please have a seat."

We all seated. I noticed that it looked like a meeting in an office rather than a family gathering. A white screen was place in front and a lot of people were here.

"Hyung, what's going on?" I whispered to Luhan hyung who was seated beside me.

"I also don't know." He whispered too.

I was about to ask another question when I saw Chairman Huang stood at the center.

"Good evening, yeorobun. We, the Huangs, asked you to be here today because we need your help. I know that we are not blood-related but we are a family, right?"

"Of course we are." Appa said.

"Now, I want to reveal something. Eversince the incident happened, I asked some of the people from various agencies to recover the remains and identify Mei's to give her a proper burial..."

I dropped my jaw. That's a crazy move. Think about separating ashes from one another. How did they do that?

"Now, a finding has been recorded. And Detective Park will tell us the details of the investigation..."

Chairman Huang sat down and one of the unknown persons stood in front.

"Good evening, yeorobun. I'm Detective Park Sung Joon. About the details of the investigation, here they are..." He showed several images on the screen and how they investigated the case.

"For twelve years, we cleared and searched the area of the incident. We collected every evidence that we found and examined them in the lab. Only this year, that we came up with a final conclusion."

No one bothered to ask.

"We were able to identify the remains of the criminals by using the latest and advanced technologies but..."

My heart thumped fast.

"We did not find any traces of Huang Zi Mei's remains."

Our jaws suddenly dropped. Our mouths were in awe.

"W-Well, that might mean...." -Luhan hyung

"Huang Zi Mei is alive."

My heart beat really fast. So fast that it wanted to explode.

"W-Wait, how sure are you that she's really alive?" Kris hyung asked.

"100%. Because when the police searched the area, we found a path that led us to an abandoned hut. There were drops of dried blood and we found out it was Mei's. And there, we found this." He handed Chairman Huang a bracelet.

His trembling hands showed it to us. I froze.

That was the bracelet I gave her!!!

I unconsciously stood up in surprise. They all looked at me.

"T-That was, that was the bracelet I gave her on her birthday." I said in a cracking voice.

"N-Ne. And she never removed it on her wrist, but look at it! It wasn't even damaged!"
