Chae Rim's POV

I froze. Kai-ssi and Chen-ssi have a sister? And Sehun knew about that?

We were sitting on the dojo floor and I think it's a good time for a storytelling.

"L-Lay-hyung, I think you forgot to mention that to me." I said.

He sighed. "Because I knew it would sound creepy. Mianhae, Rim-ah."

"A-Aigo, you don't have to apologize, hyung. You even don't have to tell me." I said. "But now, that it's brought up, can you please tell me about her?"

Even though my heart is beating very fast because of an unknown tension, I still wanted to hear it.

Lay-hyung started. "Kai and Chen had a younger sister, her name was Huang Zi Mei or Kim Jong Min in Korean. She's my youngest cousin and our princess 'cause she's the only girl in the family."

Had? Was? Why in past tense?

He continued. "Mei was a carbon copy of my aunt, Kim Jong Mi. She even had the exceptional talent in playing piano like her mom. That's why in an early age of 4, she was taught of songs that her mother composed herself. Only her know the piano keys to those songs."

"L-Lay hyung, you said she's a carbon copy of their mom. Why do they still want to see me?" I asked out of curiosity.

His face was saddened by my question.  But he did not answer.

"She died."

I looked at Sehunnie when he answered my question.
Shocked as I was, I unconsciously covered my mouth.

I didn't know how to react.

"She died when she was kidnapped at an early age of 4. The car she was in fell into a deep forest and after a few mins, it exploded before the rescuers could approach it."

Lay hyung was quiet. Maybe the pain was still in his heart.

"S-Sehunnie, how did you know all of this?" I asked.

"The Wu's and the Huang's are a family, not only in the business world, but because our parents are also childhood friends. And..." He stopped.

"Because..." He spoke as if there was a lump in his throat. "Because she was my childhood best friend, and I was there when she got kidnapped and died."

I felt sorry for Sehunnie. I didn't know he had a such traumatic experience.

"And she's the reason why I stopped using my Chinese name. Cause everytime I hear that name, her voice would eventually what I will remember."

Twelve years, twelve years and the pain they had is still fresh in their hearts. The Wu and the Huang families bore a pain no one can ever heal. They lost a princess, and both families lost their queens.

My heart was filled with uncertain grief because of what I have heard and discovered.

I don't know what came to me, but I embraced Lay hyung. He needs more of a comfort now, cause he lost his dearest cousin and his aunt and teacher who were both his piano buddies.

"Mianhae, Lay hyung. I didn't know. I'm sorry for bringing out the past."

He embraced me back. "It's okay. I was the first to bring it up."

"But it's creeping me out, hyung." He released me from the hug.

"Waeyo?"

"D-Do I really look like Mei?" I nervously asked.

He turned to Sehunnie. "I think Sehun is the one who can answer you well."

My heart thumped fast.
