The next morning, Mike came into his office and noticed an envelope sitting on his desk. He hurried over and opened it, silently thanking Bex. On the top page was a sticky note signed PG.
Be careful. Bex doesn't know the grisly details.
Well, that certainly got his attention. Flipping through he stopped on the page he figured Garcia was talking about. Waterboarding - that didn't put him at ease. He tossed the sticky note and put the papers back in the file. Sure, he didn't really know what was going on between him and Laurel. He figured working her would help since she continued to be linked to his case. Not to mention his feeling towards Bex. No matter what was going on, he had to let Laurel know since Anthony was looking into her as well. On his way to her office, he texted Bex, thanking her.
She replied with her own gratitude as they were now looking for rehearsal spaces. While she was grateful for Mike's idea, Bex was growing frustrated. Once again each building they checked showed no sign that anyone was using it.
That was until she and Emily checked a stand alone building on the edge of the city. It was their last stop for the evening and when Bex noticed a soft light on inside, she couldn't help her excitement. The pair decided to split up, taking note of the mini van in the parking lot next to the building. Bex was just about to open the side door when it burst open, hitting her in the head.
She fell backwards, groaning in pain. She searched for her gun but with no such luck for soon all she could see was a man with piercing blue eyes and a small smirk. "Well, I guess I could have timed that more perfectly. Then again, I thought you could travel by bubble, Glinda."
Bex's eyes widened. She was face to face with her sister's killer. She tried to scramble away, call out to Emily but everything seemed to be happening in slow motion. The killer picked her up and tossed her over his shoulder. She started to squirm, pounding on his back, demanding him to let her go. Surely she was being loud enough for Emily to hear her.
Bex hit the back of the van with a thud. The last row of seating had been folded up so that there was the optimal amount of space in the trunk. She tried kicking him, doing everything she could to make it harder for him to take her away and give Emily plenty of time to try and find her. "Will you stop? You've been the best Glinda I've seen in this city. It's even better because you do good. You work with the FBI and just think, I'll be reuniting you with your sister. She was such a brilliant Tinker Bell. You can help her tell stories to my Ben and Jamie." The killer said as he tied her hands and feet together.
"Who - who are Ben and Jamie?" Bex asked, trying her best to stay awake.
"My children, of course." He smiled down at her before getting out of the van.
